Shamrock Animal Hospital

We've been bringing our kitties to Shamrock Animal Hospital since we moved to the area about two years ago, but it wasn't until last week that we needed to bring in our girl Jessie for something a little more serious. She stayed at Shamrock for about 36 hours, and she was a bit of a difficult patient, but the staff at Shamrock still treated her like a princess. We absolutely adore Shamrock and we are so grateful we have them so close by to help our kitties stay healthy and happy!

There are not enough words to express our gratitude to Dr. Fagan and her wonderful staff. Because of their kindness, we were better able to navigate through the final years of Miss Green's life. Today is March 17th, 2022, exactly one month to the day that we said goodbye to our precious girl after 14.5 years. She could no longer get up on her own. Her quality of life had deteriorated and she was in so much pain. Thank you to Dr. Fagan for always caring and taking the time to listen to our concerns and for calling us after Miss Green passed. It has been so difficult for us. A special thank you to your staff, especially, Liz, Lacie, Marlee and Nicole. You have all been so kind. You made us feel like we really are part of the Shamrock Family. Lynne and Michael

Outstanding! We've been taking our dogs to this clinic for well over 20 years & I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Dr Fagan is terrific with both our dog & us. Takes the time to explain things to us & gives us all of our options for care. The staff (& especially Liz) are kind, knowledgeable & are so good with our Maddi. I highly recommend Shamrock to anyone that asks.

We really appreciate this veterinary hospital. Even though we were not patients at first, they were able to get us in on an emergency with our sick dog who had lymphoma. They helped him greatly through his end of life providing treatment that extended his life another month and a half. Now we have two new puppies and one became very ill. They have been so concerned and helpful in every way. They did have to send him up to a specialist in Jacksonville, and now they are doing the follow-up treatment. Dr. Fagan and Dr. Smith are wonderful as well as the complete staff. They are warm, welcoming and accommodating. We highly recommend!!!

I’m technically not a client at Shamrock. This past late in the day on a Friday, I had an unexpected emergency with my elderly dog who I found incoherent on the floor laying in his urine, and vomit next to him. His gums pale white and not breathing well. I called my vet (I won’t specify name), but they said it was too close to closing time and couldn’t take him in. I called a second vet, same thing. They recommended another, and no answer. I knew time was running out and did not want my beloved dog to continue suffering and possibly die on me. I remembered hearing about Shamrock and knew they had excellent reviews, so I took a chance. These amazing people at Shamrock were so kind to wait for me to bring in my dog knowing how dire the situation was. They too were close to closing time, but they understood how worried I was. I’m not a client there, they did not know me, nor my dog. But they said to bring him in anyway. At the end, my dog could not be saved, but I was able to gently let him go and be there for him, and end his pain. The staff at Shamrock was so compassionate, and very professional. They are true animal saviors. If I could remember the names of the staff and veterinarian who were there for me, I would gladly name each one of them. But you know who your are, and my family and I, including Draco appreciate you!!! Thank you again for your great compassion. Please adopt senior dogs. I adopted Draco at 10 years of age. I gave him the two best years of his life, and he gave me his best two years of himself. I know he lived his best life with us, no doubt. Senior dogs deserve a soft bed too in a cozy home, not a hard cold floor at a shelter.

Staff are thorough and friendly. Dr Fagan took her time and did a full evaluation of my dog and we discussed a care plan that keeps me and my pet much more comfortable during a difficult time. I highly recommend this team.

This is one of the best vets I have ever met. They treated my dog and I great. They were very kind and extremely helpful to us when my dog was very sick. This place is very good and I would highly recommend them for your pet.

I'm currently fostering a dog who has had a pretty terrible skin allergy. The staff got us checked in pretty quickly and after just a few short minutes the Dr came in to do the exam. He pretty much narrowed down the issue and treated the girl on the spot.

Thank you for all of your help! This sweet girl is no long scratching her face every 2 seconds and she is full of energy now!!!
