Superb service from David during the week. Family visiting enjoyed the house and pool a lot. Kayaks were delivered to our dock by Paddle Marco - great recommendation (thank you) and we kayaked in the canals behind the house. Can't wait to come back next year.

We just came back from a family vacation on Marco Island. We rented a house with a pool. When we got to the house we found the following: A dead cockroach in a bedroom, soaps not refilled, most things locked away in the kitchen. Pool loungers filthy. Pool spa, waterfall not working. Bed linens were coming off the bed and some were dirty. Lots of hair in the washer.
I was on the phone/email with at least one member of the Island Escapes staff every day. The ladies were really nice and promised to get things fixed, but nothing was really fixed for days. The air conditioning issue was on going. We could not sleep at night because the air conditioner kept going on and off loudly and when we asked to change the fan to stay on all night (the air conditioner was pre-programmed), we were refused. Flat out refused to change the program to keep the fan on. So we barely slept the entire week.
The pool equipment was broken. When it was fixed, it was quite, but when it was broken, for days, it was extremely loud at night. The entire house/pool was not ready to guests.

We were told that we were the first guests at the house in months and that was the excuse for all the things that went wrong.
It was a really bad experience.

The house however, if it were maintained, was really nice. Really quite and a nice pool.

We had an amazing stay at two different properties with Island Escapes Rental. Customer service was top notch. I already recommended them to few people who are looking to book vacations after seeing my stories on IG. We were all highly satisfied.

I stayed at 950 Bonita CT and all I have to say is WOW! This house was the perfect getaway from reality & to say it was a stunning home would be an understatement! It looked almost as if nobody has ever lived there due to how spotless every room in the house was. Not to mention the Island Escapes Team went above and beyond for my family & I, they exceeded all expectations, as they even called to check up on us during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed & were loving it so far. The process was swift & efficient, their team was very kind & helpful to all our questions & needs. I’ll definitely be a repeat customer through this company as they have been the best I’ve come across so far! Thank you Island Escapes Team, see you soon!!

The property we recently rented in Marco Island (500 Spinnaker Drive) had a wonderful location and is well designed for a large group. It was also well stocked. We had a number of issues during our stay that would have us not return to this property or any property managed by Island Escapes. Prior to arrival I inquired about whether there were coolers or sand toys at the property. I was first told unsure about coolers and no sand toys. We had one couple that drove so we sent a cooler and purchased sand toys. There were 2 large coolers and a ton of sand toys...which is great, it would have been nice for the property management company to take the time to respond accurately. Upon arrival we had roaches in the upstairs kitchen. I reached out to the property management company right away. They didn't respond, and I had to follow up with them. They then informed me they could not address until Monday morning and first thing they would call. Nothing Monday. I called again. Supposedly they came Tuesday, however the roaches were still present throughout the week. Living with roaches for a week is disgusting, in the vacation home we waited all year to come together in, not to mention the cost to rent this home is not insignificant. We also didn't have a beach umbrella, a working blender, or a high chair as advertised. I also raised this and was told they would be delivered on Wednesday. We never received the blender or umbrella for the entire staty. We did receive the high chair on Thursday, dropped off by the property management company in a box for us to assemble. Minor in comparison, but still an inconvenience, was the check-in/key situation. All the time we rent vacation homes which have electronic access to the home with a code to make it convenient for guests, especially with houses of this size. We had to drive to the property management company at check-in and check-out, and there were 2 keys only provided making it very challenging to keep track of and also plan for with so many guests and schedules. Of course we were with our family from around the US we hadn't seen, so we weren't going to let all of this ruin our trip, but for sure the roaches had a very negative impact on our trip and we will never return to this home or any Island Escapes home again.

We rented a house on Marco Island in July 2022, 1107 Breakwater Ct. The house was absolutely gorgeous, beautifully decorated, the pool was beautiful and everyone had own bedroom and bath. Just about any item we could have needed was provided. But the house did have a few minor issues that the company immediately resolved. Ice maker was freezing up before we got there but they let us know about it and brought us a bag of ice while it was being fixed. The pool was really messy with bugs and there was no skimmer so they made sure to have someone clean it. They brought us new umbrellas to replace 2 broken ones and new bike locks since there were no keys to the ones there. I thought they were VERY quick to respond to these issues so we definitely would book with them again. Extra shout out to the cleaning person, who had towel] animals on our beds, toilet paper rosettes, pan lids organized, everything was spotless!!!

Horrible customer service. Very disappointed. Same day arriving two-three hours before "check-in" time we got a phone call saying the house was not clean yet and we could get dinner expense reimbursed if we provided copy of receipt due to their delay. - After more than 2 months, still waiting for the reimbursement check. - More than 5 attempts to follow up, and only excuses. - Please do not use/rent vacation homes with this company. - Highly irresponsible and not worth your trust.

5-star for the accommodation.

1-star off: they make you pickup the key whist it’s just a door code. They also gave us the wrong door code so needed a 2 phone call

1-star off: nickel-and-diming on pool heat and late check-out. It’s not a $100 hotel room but frankly got better experience at the Hilton.

0.5-star off: the pool heat didn’t work first day while paying for it. Their maintenance said I had to fill the pool and pointed at a hose. That didn’t work so the pool guy needed to come to figure out that the timer wasn’t set properly.

Overall great house but less than stellar management.
