Visitor Center

We always stop at the Prairie when we are in Gainesville. New exhibits are going in at the visitor center, and the entire park is quite peaceful.

Great view of the prairie and nicely laid out educational displays.

Friendly staff and great views. Lots of activities for kids.

Nice visitor center near the observation tower with informative displays and interactive exhibits about the landscape, wildlife, plants and cultural history of the prairie. The volunteer at the desk was friendly and answered our questions.
