Reel Kind Fishing and Tours

We have been shelling with ReelKind a few times a year for the past 6 years. I highly recommend them if you’re in the area and want to have a good day finding shells. The captains are knowledgeable and so very kind. The owners, Jesse and Bonnie, are great people who treat you with care and respect. The entire is the absolute best, and we can’t wait to go out with them again!!

Our Captain was Derek brown. We enjoyed everything about this trip. We found every shell on our bucket list. The tour outweighed all of our expectations. We will definitely go back out with them. The other Captain Colt Pearce was great as well. Both Captains were very informative regarding the types of shells and the area. Thank you @SWFBeaches for recommending this tour! Reel Kind Fishing & Shelling is an outstanding company! The best customer service and it’s always consistent. I’ve taken several shelling trips and I’ve always had a great time. The captains work hard to ensure you have a fun time. After many years of shelling, I finally became a member of the “J” club! Thank you Reel Kind!

Our first trip out with Reel Kind and hopefully not our last. Capt Mike was great, helpful and informative. He even tried to keep us dry on the bouncy and windy ride home (which was great fun!).
Info beforehand was excellent and i would honestly recommend to anyone. We had a marvelous time and found loads of beach treasures.

Reel kind gave me the best day ever!! I can’t recommend reel kind enough! Captain Jesse and his son were the highlight of my entire trip to Marco island! I had the best shelling trip with them. Me and my boyfriend were looking for a shelling tour that had an option for me to shell while he fished. I called reel kind to book our own tour and Bonnie helped us out by giving us a discount and instead of booking a private tour, reel kind let my boyfriend come on a shelling guide while being able to fish on the beach! Bonnie gave us tips on where to get live bait and let my boyfriend bring his own pole and bait! Captain Jesse already knew our names when we met them at the pavilion and had a special spot for us on the boat, that meant so much to us and really made the whole tour so memorable. Captain Jesse helped my boyfriend with fishing techniques and showing him the good fishing spots on the island. Him and his son were so kind, helpful, very informative and had the perfect answer for every question we had. I couldn’t be more thankful with the experience reel kind provided! I can’t thank them enough for making me and my boyfriends trip unforgettable! Reel kind is the best of the best!

December 17th I went on a tour with captain Mike 🐚 He was great (and from my home state, Jersey 😉)! Very knowledgeable, helpful, and “reel kind!” I had the shell haul of my LIFE! I’ll definitely be back!

If you’re looking here, you’re considering Reel Kind. All I have to say is book it with them. You won’t regret it. I have been counting down the days until my tour with Reel Kind. My first tour was with Captain Colt. He was kind and very knowledgeable about all the shells we were finding. I was on a four hour shelling tour and that went by so quickly. I wish I had more time. So what did I do? I booked a second tour the following day which was with Captain Mike. The second tour was more rewarding because we had a storm the night prior and it washed ashore so many more shells. I also had a better idea of what I wanted to collect. But I needed more time collecting shells. There will never be enough time collecting shells for me! There is no other tour operator for me. When I return, it will be Reel Kind again!

On 9/23/2021 my wife and I did a 6 hour trip with Reel Kind. Ahead of our trip we received an email with some good tips so that we were prepared to make the most of our trip. I was not overly excited initially about the shelling it was my wife's idea. However I ended up enjoying it much more then I thought. Our Captain, Captain Colt, walked with us along the beach showing us how to find unique shells and I was blown away by what he could tell us about them and the species they came from.

After we were done fishing some rain showers came through. Captain Colt was able to keep us out of the worst of the rain while still managing to have us catchinf fair amount of fish. Then on our way back to dock we came across a group of dolphins and Captain Colt managed to get them to play and jump in the boats wake for a while. I will absolutely use Reel Kind again and recommend them to anyone.
