Holloway Park

I love this place. I wish I had a park like this when I was growing up. Maybe I would have fallen in love with running before my 30s... This park is always well maintained and a beautiful place to run. Just don't try to get your run in on Monday or get too close to the lake. The signs are there for a reason.

Running trails are well kept/mowed. Very few people using trails during the day. Lots of room for kites, frisbee, pets, etc...

This park has amazing views, hills and trails. There are facilities at the entrance of the park only…. Be aware of the Disc Golf tournaments on the weekends and allow space to the players..

This is a big park with hiking and running trails and a disc golf course. At first it looks like an open area with not many trees but the trails are towards the back of the park with more shaded areas.

Update: Thank you for having a porta potty available now!

Please move some porta potties to the disc golf course side! The road is blocked and without walking a good distance, there's no restrooms. Guys are peeing all over the woods. Really disgusting. Pretty sure i got it over my legs when grabbing a disc.

Gorgeous disc golf course. Restrooms would really make an impact on this course/Park. OB is BRUTAL though!

So, the park hosts many cross country events with thousands of people in attendance. There is ENTIRELY WAY TOO MANY fire ant mounds. It's difficult to maneuver around that many people to have to always look for fire ants as well. My daughter collapsed after a race right into a mound and got Tore Up. Come on, we can do better.

Beautiful, clean, expansive park. Disc golf course is well marked. Maps took me to the wrong entrance. Had to find my way around to the open gate. Would recommend to anyone.

Beautiful area to hike through. Be sure to carry water. Our dog loved it. We plan on going back to play frisbee golf. Nice, quiet area.
