Save A Lot

Prices are reasonable. How nice is that?
Their meats are good,so are the dairy products. The store is clean and ( for the most part) staff is friendly.
MUST bring your own bags and pack what you bought yourself. But,that's OK...
Give the store a try. It doesn't have everything,in every flavor,BUT,what they do have will save you $$$$

Great value for foods, however not a frequent shopper here at all. The lack of customer service from Kaylin , was rude, abrupt and sad to say the least. But the manager addressed all concerns with politeness, poise and professionalism, i do appreciate her efforts in making the visit better after the kaylin factor fail.

Some of the Meat was turning brown. Lunch meat was moldy. Cheese had skyrocketed in price. Banquet meals were 2 for $5 for an 8oz meal, and the peppers in the produce were starting to soften and wrinkle. We left.

The young man who was re stocking meat greeted me with kindness before I could greet him and when asked about wings, he stopped what he was doing, went to the back and brought some out without missing a beat. I could tell he liked his job because his heart was right. God bless you young man... You will go far.

So I split my grocery shopping between Sav A Lot and Walmart largely because I don't like to deal with the Walmart crowds. My grocery buying is pretty repetitive and even at Walmart I normally buy the house brands. What I have been doing is comparing prices between the 2 stores, pricing out my receipt. I find that my total grocery bill at Sav a Lot is about 20%+ higher than Walmart. Even items on special (say 10 for $10) are more expensive per unit. So I guess if you're a Publix shopper you'll likely Sav A Lot but not the case for me. The store (Eustis) is generally clean. I normally see someone in the meat department and they are helpful. The shelves are stocked and I have never seen it crowded. Bagging my own is no big deal. So in the future I'll use the store when I need a couple items. The extra 20% is just a bit much for me when it comes to my regular shopping.

I went for apples and some were cheaper than other stores. All the p reduce was well priced. Yay!

Best store around to find inexpensive steak, pork, or rib specials. Much cheaper than Publix or WalMart

I go to the store on a regular basis. It is always well stocked and has a nice meat department.
