Shore View Apartments

I lived at Shore View Apts for a year and left only because I was moving out of the area; I would've gladly continued staying there. I'm a professional that works from my home so I require a quiet environment - the thick concrete walls at Shore View provided exactly what I needed. I lived in Bldg E and seldom heard a peep out of anybody; no music, no arguments, no running down the hall. Granted it's an apartment complex so once in awhile there were kids having fun outside on a weekend day like kids should do.

I had a few minor maintenance issues that were immediately resolved. By immediately I mean within an hour which included having my fridge replaced with a brand new one. I never had any problem getting in touch with anyone, maintenance was prompt & courteous, as was the after-hours lockout service.

Besides being across the street from the beach and having beach access too (that's a bigger deal than you might think), the biggest stand-out for me during my stay was the phenomenal customer service that I received from Ann, Christina, and the entire staff. They went out of their way to make me happy and comfortable; not because they had to, but because they're genuinely nice people that want to help.

The value for the money is high, the community is safe, the extras like the pool and fitness center were wonderful, and the location is fantastic. I would recommend Shore View Apartments to my friends and family looking for a decent apartment in a good community with plenty of amenities for an affordable price.

I moved in 1 month ago and I could not be happier. Clean, quiet and newly refurbished. Office staff is excellent and accommodating. The pool area and overall landscaping is fantastic. A tremendous value with mid century modern style and located by the beach.

I can't believe I am moving the end of this month (June). Shore View has been my heaven on earth for the last two years. Maintenance is excellent and Katy and Ann are awesome in the office. Not many apartment offices are open on Saturday but Katy is here every Saturday while really helps when you work 8 to 5 on the mainland. Everytime I come home, I feel like I am on vacation. My terrazo floors are beautiful and cool. My huge sliding glass doors really bring the outside in. And did I mention my pink cabinets in the kitchen? Awesome!! Shore View has a huge well maintained pool with showers at each entrance. Perfect for washing the sand off after going to the beach across the street. I can't say enough wonderful things about my two years here. Try it..you'll like it 😉😍

We just renewed my mom's lease for another year. Shoreview is such a nice place with good neighbors, well maintained facilities and great office staff. I feel so lucky that we found this place! Reposting last year's review below. Nothing has changed except that we like it even more now that we've met more people here.

We have family and now friends who live at Shoreview apartments and they love it. It's an older construction, rock solid beachside facility. (Actually directly across the street from the beach/ocean) The apartments are roomy and quiet(because of the concrete construction). The grounds are nicely landscaped and the interior courtyard is especially pretty. The facility is immaculate and very well kept. I visit family often and have had numerous encounters with staff who are, to a person, great and helpful people. It's a nice community within a nice beachside community/town.
When I came to this page to post my review, I was surprised to see some of the negative comments. They're nothing like we've experienced in the year since my mom moved to Shoreview. Our experience has been entirely positive with the place and especially with staff in the office, maintenance and housekeeping. Awesome folks.

Great place to live...the office and maintenance staff are excellent and very responsive to the residents, the place is well maintained for an older building, and hey...it’s right across the street from the beach! The only reason I gave it four stars instead of three is that I miss having a dishwasher and washer/dryer. But that’s a small price to pay for living in an apartment complex where the staff actually makes you feel that’s it’s your home. You’re more than a resident here...you’re family.

It's like living in Mini paradise. The apartment complex is from sixties. They have been talking about gutting the apartments and remodeling them building by building. In the center of all the apartment buildings is a beautiful pool and beautiful grounds. The ocean is right across the street. Very nice place.

Rats,snakes, bee infestations, water damage and no laundry machines....i mean its horribly managed and they should be reported.

I lived at Shore View for 3 very happy years. The management is on top of maintenance, very friendly and helpful. Our neighbors were all very respectful and considerate. You cannot beat the price for the location. The interior is a bit dated but I don't care about things like that. The grounds were always kept beautifully clean and manicured. I think that it is a wonderful place to live.
