My wife was involved in an accident this past weekend. The police had the vehicle towed to their rotation tow company. My vehicle cannot be accessed by my wife who was the driver to get her personal effects from the vehicle. The Sheriffs office will not even lift a finger to help her who they know and can identify as my wife. I am many hours away and cannot help her. This is not public service. I know there are policies put in place by the towing companies to hold the vehicles hostage for as long as they can to collect their fees. I am not arguing the fees. I just need her to be able to come home and her personal possessions are still in the vehicle.
The officers tell me they can do nothing. But they fail to realize that the rotation towing company they called, represents them too.

Huge appreciation and respect for Dept and K9 officer on duty last night. Found my missing mother safe and well. She had been missing for hours with others looking for her. K9 found her in less than 30 minutes. Endless thanks and gratitude!

Any and all Law Enforcement Agencies, deserve more recognition and appreciation than what they receive. They hunt the monsters that most people in today's society, pretend doesn't exist. They risk their lives just as much as anyone in the US Armed Forces, and get treated horrible. What many of the absent minded people today, call racism is actually prejudice, there is a huge difference between the 2 and people don't see that. They don't realize that they are the ones who save lives, who bring peace of mind to the family of a lost one who was murdered, and they are the ones in society who try to improve the community. With the rest of the world destroying its self they want to put a little bit of it back together, in the event it stops so we can all have better lives. There may be a few corrupt cops out there but I can guarantee that at least 97% of them want the best for you. If you change your view on them and treat them the complete opposite of what you do now, give that's it's negative, not only will you make their lives and jobs easier, then they won't be as "racist" or be "murderers" ECT. as you claim. They need your support, so they can support you, you need to realize that they stand between you and a person trying to kill you, and they are the first on scene to your dying family member in the street, store, or home.

This sheriff department has some of the best law enforcement officials. The court room was impressive and i have been treated with complete respect. Keep up the great work. May God stay with you!

Why is it that all phone numbers display a busy signal around 10pm...why when you physically go to the jail and notify at the speaker your reason for being their at 11:40 pm you are apatheticaly address like you are an annoyance and bothering them .last time I checked they were paid by the citizens of st Lucie county...we need to train ourselves on the rewards of empathy...

Had some administrative work to get done at the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office. Everyone I interacted with was professional, friendly and service oriented. Not only did they get me in before my appointment time, I was in and out after 5 minutes. Couldn’t ask more from a public agency. Great job! And super service.
