Groveland Police Department

Thank goodness I moved out of Groveland. I waited 2 years to post this. The attitude of a number of Groveland Police is not too serve or protect, but to bully. Especially officer French. If you get stopped by officer French you better know the law, because he doesn't. And when he is out of his realm for his ignorance of the law, he begins to threaten to arrest you "for obstruction of an investigation". Move out of Groveland. Go around Groveland. Just don't go through that city. If you HAVE to go through Groveland, have your video camera going from the beginning -- especially if officer French is there.

My husband had an accident and they keep him 2 hours waiting because he was writing the report. The came outside and said that his printer was not working that we can call the next day and get the report from the office. Then we call the next day and they said that he have 10 business days to get it together and we explain he had done it the night before and this was Officer A. Jarrell. The lady on the phone started screaming at me telling that they have bu law 10 days and that she did not know what else to say he name is Stefanie. For such as small town they are the worse i have ever seeing. They dont care about anyone except to collect the check. Shame on you.

Through circumstances totally outwith my sphere of influence I had the pleasure of meeting Sheriff's Deputy Schneider this evening. I want to say that I very much appreciated his advice and kind reassuring words of advice. What a very professional and personable officer.

My neighbor threw a rock at a Sandhill Crane that was chillin under my tree on MY yard, well he hit here in the head. Now she can't walk her eyes are going back and forth. They suggested to get a hold of Lake County and they would be able to direct me where to go or call. Thank you so much for the information.

Dep Ramos and Corp.clark went above and beyond to to get us back on the road. Waited 2 hrs for AAA. we didn't have a lug nut wrench for a Mercedes so they flagged down a Mercedes and borrowed theirs to change our tire. Still AAA never showed up. Thank you officers for your help!

For how annoying they can be for pulling me over while I’m playing Pokémon go at 3 am I do understand the sketchy ness. I appreciate them because if they are pulling me over about twice a week they must really be going after the weird dudes. But to be honest they helped my older brother a lot and I appreciate that. Plus I got to get my own finger paintings done when I was a little kid who stupidly broke into a green house.

They pull you over for anything give tickets without warning. Besides feeling harassed, I feel like a target while driving throughout Groveland. I have never received a ticket while living in Florida until I moved to Groveland. The police are supposed to serve the community not harass them.

Pulled a family member over for only going 3mph over the speed limit and gave them a ticket?! They will pull u over for anything…
