Marco Island Police Department

I left by accident my Truck's key Inside the cabin at the end of a hard working day. After a call to the Police Department of Marco Island two officers help opening the locked door in 2 minutes. Great job!! Thanks a lot for your rapid response.

Extremely professional group of individuals. Chief Schettino does an excellent job in his role. The department is extremely active in the community and volunteers countless time and effort to make our island a special and safe place to live. In the 15 years of interactions I've had with this department, I've always had extremely polite and respectful encounters. There was only one noteworthy instance where an emotionally charged meathead aggressively interrogated me at a routine stop. He is since no longer with the department.

A huge thank you to Officer Andrew Lindenmuth for calling our home in Wisconsin and alerting us to a water leak in our sprinkler system after being called by a neighbor. He then took the time to turn the water off! Kudos to him and our unknown neighbor!

Extremely professional and honest police officers and department . They contacted me when i had lost my wallet at gas station on 5/27/19 and i was grateful that they were able to go beyond and above their role to help a citizen and resident. True professionalism and integrity. Im very grateful.

They are taking advantage of people who have multiple vehicles parked in their driveway and issuing tickets to them. Scummy tactics to make money.

Best PD! I can’t express enough how appreciative I am of Marco Island PD. The officers here are kind, responsive, and always help the community. Every encounter I had with MIPD was always impressive in terms of how professional and skilled our local officers and other staff members of the PD are. Thank you for making MI a safer and better place for all of us.

I'm at the Apollo condominium well past 9 pm in turtle season and I don't see any officers patrolling for all these lights on endangering these turtles!

we were cited for something, but the whole experience was very reasonable - the officer was very nice, fair and helpful in explaining the violation
