The Western end of the Good Neighbor Trail that now connects to the Withlachooee State Trail 10 miles to the East. Nice trail. First half through rural areas and very hilly. Next half through forest and straight.

Was very interesting. The guide was very informative on history of the station and surrounding area. Had quite a collection of artifacts and railroad related items.

Historical gem in the heart of Brooksville. This is a must see for train collectors, history buffs or those looking for something extraordinary.

Note that this is a train station museum, not a train museum. There are a few artifacts concerning trains but mostly it's just It's a collection of old artifacts from the general area.

The elderly woman hosting it was very knowledgeable and a bit strict. Don't wander off away from the group or you'll get strongly reprimanded even if wandering off is 10 ft away :-)
