The sunset, full moon boat tour was just a magical experience. Captain Morgan created a beautiful and captivating experience for myself and husband while in the boat tour. This was our second time on a Rising Tide Explorers trip, and both times the trips have been perfect. Captain Morgan was able to share her vast knowledge of the rookery while keeping it understandable and entertaining. We will be back! Thank you!

Our guide, Evan, was excellent. He knew about the wildlife, gave us a detailed explanation of how phytoplankton works in the estuary system, and many other tidbits. He was very pleasant and made sure we could all hear him. The actual tour route was fantastic. We saw all types of birds and other animals. If you're looking for a quality experience with a cool guide, then don't look any longer. This is well worth the time to spend with the family.

Did the sunset bird trip with 10 and 12 yr old grandkids plus parents and grandparents. It was wonderful for all ages! Jeanine, our guide, was so well informed and enthusiastic about everything we saw. The boys had lots of questions, especially about all the birds returning to this one small island every night. It’s quite a sight! Highly recommend.

We took the Rookery Bay Estuary tour with Rising Tide back in July. Capt. Winston was awesome! He was super thorough with explaining the ecosystem and all of its inhabitants and really took the time to give everyone the time to take pictures and ask questions. Very, very safe trip the whole time. He even spent a little extra time with some dolphins we came upon towards the end of the tour. I would HIGHLY reccomend this tour to anyone who enjoys learning about the wonderful place that is Rookery Bay and the surrounding areas in the 10,000 Islands region. If you're staying in Marco, thisbis just a 10 minute drive as well! Thanks again for a great time. We will be sure to book another trip when we are back in the Winter!

We rented kayaks here and paddled for about two hours. They provided a laminated map, life jackets, and a waterproof bag. It was windy so our initially departure was a bit more strenuous. Once you're in the channels it was quite peaceful. I would highly recommend getting out before the tours leave at 9. We left at 8:20 and never saw another kayak until our return. If you're less adventurous the tours looked fun. Bird watching was excellent. Had an Osprey catch a fish right in front of me.

What a wonderful experience. We booked a private Essence of the Estuary EcoCruise, Winston was our guide. He personable and knowledgeable and made sure we had a great time! The icing on the cake was the pod of dolphins that were traveling with us and gave us quite the show. I wish there was a way for me to attach a pic. They were swimming around and under us and were breaching in double and triples all around us. It was amazing! I highly recommend if you enjoy nature and wildlife!
