Very informative, detailed history of the island and it's native heritage, fun for the kids and adults, friendly staff, very amazing place, a must see if you are on the island! You would never guess how much history this island has and you can truly grasp it with the trip here.

Visited July 2 2022 from Miami. Wonderful museum with lots of exhibits. We loved it.

We've been visiting Marco for 23 years now and we finally checked out the museum. What a treat! There was so much to see; from local art depicting the local birds and wildlife to a full-scale replica of a Calusa house. No matter how much you think you know about Marco, you are sure to learn something new. Thanks for the hospitality!

Have to stop in and say hi to Panther Man every time we’re in Marco Island. Some call it the Marco Key Cat, but it’s always Panther Man to me.

A beautiful history of Marco Island. Wonderful artifacts and pictures. A 30 minute film gives great detail on how this came to be. Lovely gift store too.

Awesome! We were surprised by how big it was and how much history info they had to offer. They show a short video on how the island became what it was today, very interesting. I wish we had more time to go through and really look at everything, it was fun and very interesting. Friendly staff

This museum was a pleasant surprise and a nice stop while on our first visit to the island. It was larger and more professionally presented than I would have assumed. Both the sections on Native American history and the story of the island development were very interesting.

Beautiful landscape on the outside and educational on the inside. We enjoyed going through each area and thought the Indian sceneries were great. The volunteer (gentleman who also tags sharks) couldn't have been any nicer. I loved the interactive scene at the end where you get to see Marco Island's magazines from a long time ago... Loved seeing the snapshot in time of topics, outfits, etc.
