Update 5/2022: Excited to see Top Gun and other New Releases here. Saw Downtown Abbey at special event last week. Love this movie theater.

Broad array of great independent movies, ballets, operas and plays on the big screen. Comfy seats. Perfect for group outings with friends or going solo. Great new design inside. Went recently to see new releases and enjoyed the beer and wine selection.

Nice mom and pop theater with comfortable seats, lots of legroom and clean floors and bathrooms. Reasonable concessions and inexpensive ($8) tickets for first run films. Six or seven theaters with different films. Never crowded which is nice. Free parking. Great neighborhood gem!!

This is our go to movie theater as it's within 4 minutes of our home.

1. Great $8 ticket price (affordable)

2. Ample parking

3. Immaculately clean (especially rest rooms)

4. Large selection of current, foreign, and independent releases.

5. Movies of Delray even offers opera, symphonies, and dance shows "LIVE" from Lincoln Center and venues around the world.

6. Staff is pleasant, efficient, and very helpful to ensure a wonderful experience.

Comfy clean and great sound. I went for a movie premiere and it was nothing short of amazing concession stand and all just wonderful.

Love the theater but some screens are dark for me rather go to cinemark..why don't they spend some money and fix the projector or whatever the problem is

Went and saw avatar tonight and got two tickets, candy, popcorn, and drinks for less then 34 dollars total. Employees were unbelievably nice. Comfortable seating. Overall great experience. Highly recommend. 100% will be going back

My friend and I went to this theater to see West Side Story on December 23rd after reading up on COVID precautions and protocol at the theater. They posted that they cleaned and sanitized each theater in between performances. They also posted that masks were required inside the theater unless you were eating. They left the impression that the seating was socially distanced, and that the number of people permitted at each showing was limited. Tickets were to be ordered online with a service charge. My friend has a seriously impaired immune system so we wanted to be sure we were safe. We walked into the theater, and there were people seated who were not wearing masks. Seating was wherever you wanted, and no social distancing was enforced. Not only was the theater NOT sanitized, it was dirty, with popcorn and garbage on the floor.
My friend was upset and went out and brought back an employee who was irritated that she was being asked to clean up. Even when trash was pointed out, she said that they were short staffed, and we could get our money back if we were not happy. She did not clean, and she told us that there were only going to be a few people in the theater so it didn't matter. When I decided to get the refund because we were not comfortable, the service fee was not refunded. We were told it was not their charge but the service company's charge. Not only is the business website in accurate about the precautions they were supposed to be taking, the employees were callous and uncaring. It is highly unlikely we will ever return to this theater.
