The upgrades done the past several months at the theater make every seat extremely comfortable to sit in. They all recline, and you won't feel cramped. Each seat also has it's own tray table, which includes a cup holder, so you can easily keep your drink in front of you. The self check-in hasn't worked for me in ages, so just go to the people at the register to have them ring you up or scan in your fandango ticket. There is a new full-service bar, complete with TVs, that you could actually sit and watch a game if you were so inclined. The popcorn tastes great, and they have a good selection of Coke products, including even caffeine free Diet Coke, which is my drink of choice there. So in conclusion, good snacks, great seats, great sound system for the movies.. A good place to catch a movie, especially those action movies that demand the big screen.

The seats are comfortable. This theater is brand new and I hope they management work out a better system for ordering snacks, finding straws, putting butter on your popcorn yourself etc., Very old fashion concept.

Doesn’t really look like it’s even open. With all the construction in the plaza it makes the theater look like a dump. The most annoying part about it is when there’s a super hero movie that comes out all the teenagers are in the theater loud and talking the entire movie. That is unless you angrily tell them to shut up. Only nice part is sometimes there’s empty theaters so there will be about 7 people total. But honestly I avoid this theater I like the luxury theaters better.

I was here tonight (10/4) for a 7:10pm showing of the movie “Smile”. There were the most obnoxious teenage boys there ever. Honestly, the theater was filled with annoying, inconsiderate teens. I came to the movies on a weeknight hoping that there wouldn’t be too many people, especially the annoying gardens kids since it’s a school night but they were there. These kids screamed stupid words out during the entire film and were overly dramatic about every scene (even the most simple ones). At some point, a manager came into theater and scolded the teens which was nice. He stayed for a while to make sure that everyone was behaving because they were receiving complaints, but as soon as he left, the teens started throwing random objects at people in the theater and one patron stood up and yelled that he would punch the person in the face if they kept throwing the items. It was a horrible film experience and it’s really not the fault of the theater but this film is a rated r movie and the teens seemed to be middle schoolers (at least they were acting that age). I’m not sure that they were ID’d to be in there and maybe if they were, the rest of us could’ve enjoyed the film. People need to parent their kids better and keep an eye on them if they can’t behave in public without adult supervision. I had the most second-hand embarrassment from watching these obnoxious kids. They thought they were so funny but we were all annoyed and many patrons told them to “shut the f—k up” at various points throughout the showing. Either way, I won’t be back. Movies are moving to streaming platforms faster and faster, so I’d rather stay home and watch films in the comfort of my home instead of having to deal with idiots like this in public. Also, I’m sure they’re still renovating the theater, but CMX is so depressing to visit. It’s like a ghost town and just very dark. My experience tonight at CMX was scarier than the movie unfortunately… I guess it’s Spooky Season after all.

This was the worst theater experience I've ever had.

1. Nobody to check our $50 tickets. Just grab the 3D glasses yourself next time and don't worry about paying.

2. None of the digital signs work, and the theater # wasn't on the ticket. I saw the same comment posted 5 months ago.

3. The movie (Avatar-2) froze 30 minutes in. I saw the same issue in a review but didn't believe it.

4. Took 5 minutes to get a rude staff lady to tell me what screen the movie was showing on. She kept telling me to go back to the front.

5. Theater was HOT in january. There's even a sign saying that one of the theatres had a broken AC. Sign seems to have been there a while.

I hope this place gets sold to a better company that will fix it.

The ticket sales person ruined our night. My wife and I recently had a kid and no longer have much time to ourselves. This Saturday night we had a rare opportunity to go out and have a date night because my sister came into town and forced us out of the house to enjoy ourselves. We have been dying to go see black panther so we decided to go watch it at 7pm. We get to the ticket booth, we ask for 2 tickets to go see black panther but he pulled up the screen for Avatar. We told him that was the wrong movie. We asked for black panther. He Apologizes and pulls up what weassumed was black panther. He told us the next showing was 7:25. We thought it was strange because the site showed us 7:05. But it wasn't a major deal so we agreed and went to go take a stroll until the movie starts. We come back at 7:20, got ready to pull out the tickets and realized it showed BLACK ADAM. He pulled up the wrong movie twice. Worse part is we went back to the front desk and they did not have another showing until 10:40. Completely ruined our plans. Had to go home without watching the movie. Thank you so much for the incompetence.

Went there last night to see Avatar. The new seating in the theater is nice but the place just felt dirty and unsanitary. It’s not the fault of the young people (only paid minimum wage). Our seats had been occupied for a prior showing; there was liquid in the cup holder and something sticky on the tray. We asked them to wipe it down but they are given nothing more than a broom and pickup to clean the theater with. They couldn’t even find a paper towel to give us. They had nothing at all to wipe the seats down with, let alone sanitize them. Ugh. I’ll never go back again without having a full package of sanitizing wipes. Ugh.

Very bad experience! I went to watch a movie and I asked for a large popcorn. Not only did I have to pay a very expensive price it was the size of my hand!. I was in the movies eating popcorn when an employee grabbed my popcorn and took it. Not only were the staff yelling at me bc i had my "dogs" out on the chair in front of me they also demand for me to put on socks. The seats were uncomfy felt like i was sitting on a cat. Then a wild dog ran in the movie it grabbed my drink and ran off with it. Later the whole crowd was booing at me calling my a NPC what does that mean! If I could a 0 out of 5 actually a -10000000. BYE
