Movies at Wellington

Always a great price here and after the theater reopened after Covid, the theatre was running great. Today was an awful experience though. There were two teenagers working with no adult in sight. When we walked into theatre 4 it smelled strongly of urine. My kids were so excited and didn’t notice it. Had it not been for them enjoying themselves, I would have left immediately. Fifteen minutes after the movie was supposed to begin, the lights and previews had not come on and I had to ask someone to put the movie on. It was evident by their response that they forgot. They didn’t turn the projector room light off, so I had to ask for that to be turned off also. Throughout the film, that light was turned on and off affecting the lighting in the theatre. Also, and likely not the fault of the staff, the reclining on the chairs all don’t work.
Overall, If you’re looking for a romantic date night movie spot, this is not the place. If you have a family and want to do something special on a budget, this is your jam. Hope this helps someone.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I recently moved from Loxahatchee to the Wellington area. Not wanting to pay the $$$ to go see a movie at the Wellington Mall, I was happy to have discovered Movies at Wellington. My friend and I went to see Jurassic World Dominion on Friday night 7/08/22. We had to ask for a refund as 30 minutes after the movie was scheduled to start we were still sitting in the theater waiting for someone to turn on the projector. Besides my friend and I, there was one other couple waiting to watch the movie. Over the course of 15 minutes all 4 of us took a turn looking for someone to start the movie. They all looked confused and basically acted like it wasn't their job so no one started the movie. We eventually asked for a refund. What a joke, is there no one supervising the children running this business!?! File this under: "For a good time, visit Movies at Wellington - NOT!"

Great place to watch movies for a cheap price. The line can be a bit slow sometimes but it's fine. Reclinable seats but not for the feet. A bit chilly so I'd recommend bringing a coat or blanket if cold is an issue.

The staff needs to be better trained. They had one person working Is selling tickets where you buy popcorn. And sarita 4 other people behind the counter actually doing nothing but playing on their phones and laughing.

Meanwhile the movie was about to start.

The in need of a serious manager there.

We had a private birthday party. Denise and her team were phenomenal! Kids had an amazing time eating delicious popcorn and drinking unlimited soda. The entire team were committed to superb service and responded quickly to our needs. Wonderful experience!

We have given this theatre many opportunities from many horrible situations and unfortunately it just keeps on declining. Yes, it’s a great price but this place really reflects the saying “you get what you pay for”.
Many horrible experiences and when we try to speak to an employee it is simply “there is nothing we can do about that”. There is never any management in sight and while I think that the young kids have the full potential to run the theatre, this crew really doesn’t put any effort into it. It really is all on the management and while even my kids are frustrated with this place, we hope it eventually gets better but we have thrown in the towel. I grew up going to this place, was there when it first opened but it really saddens me that right when it looks like they are improving it goes back down.

Is what it is 2 kids running the place they did great. Movie may start late no biggie. For $8 a head it's worth it. Has a charm about it. Definitely see Bullet train!

Staff was nice and outgoing. Theatres were small and compact, yet sufficient enough. Had a truly enjoyable time with my friend here.

Place needs more janitors, though.
