Suds n Cinema

Wow! It's been probably close to 25 years since I've been to Suds n Cinema. I pass by it all the time and don't think anything of it but after the remodel I've been thinking about trying it out again.. well tonight the kids were staying the night with their Grandparents, and the wife and I have been wanting to see The Batman so was a perfect opportunity to give it a try.

We were very impressed! I honestly remember it being a run down theater so didn't have high expectations but they definitely deserve credit for making it a great place for food and movies again. We had a great time, everyone was friendly great service and really good food. We were leaving thinking how much the kids would enjoy then I believe the owner told us that sonic would be playing in a few weeks so we definitely will be back for that with the kids.

We booked our daughter's 13th birthday party at Suds N Cinema. What a great experience! Communicating with them before hand was easy and they did a great job staying in touch and ensuring we had everything we needed. The service was wonderful and the atmosphere was perfect. The pizza was great too! I hadn't been to this theater in over 20 years; and what a difference! The building has been completely renovated while maintaining its character and is extremely clean and comfortable. We had a great time and highly recommend this as a party venue.

Watched Maverick with the wife and kids after a long work week. Quite relaxing and enjoyable. Service was outstanding and the food and snacks were on point. Not able to have a beer since I was in uniform but the wife said her blueberry pilsner was wonderful! Establishment was clean and well cared for. Thank you for a great end to a long week!

Enjoyed the experience with hubby & friend. Something different to do. Quality of picture could be better. Also, thought it strange that although we arrived 40 minutes before movie started to eat, they don't serve until afterwards. Was pitch black dark & we had to use our phones to see what we'd been served. Sausage dog skin was tough, but tasted good. With all charges added together towards end of movie, we felt compelled to tip on total, which included the $10. admission. So $60 (included 2 entries, food & drinks & tip) was a little heavy for a movie that I didn't really even like. Glad I had good company with me :)

It's a fun and cool concept, but it could use a little more comfort and quality in the menu to up the experience. Chairs with arm rests, and a little more variety in the menu would've made the experience more pleasurable and seem more reasonable for the amount of money spent. There was also something in the air that caused a reaction to our senses making throat itchy and eyes very irritated, and painful. It's probably a one time thing for us, as the cushy reclining seats and big screen are worth the drive, money, and comfort.

The movie theater is adorable. Our server, Mo, was fantastic. My biggest concern was the seats... my whole family was very uncomfortable. After about 30 minutes the bench starts to really hurt. The food was pretty good, mostly snack bar stuff, but of course very pricey. Also, they include the admission costs with the food bill so the recommended tips are disproportionately high.

This is a quintessential must-do downtown event. The service was amazing. The food was tasty. What the venue lacked in comfort, it was far exceeded in fun and value!

Awesome place! Staff was so friendly and their selection of food and drinks was excellent. They have a balcony as well! Love the wide range of movies they show here and how they've preserved the architecture of the theater. Definitely support them, as they're the only independent theater in the area!
