Holiday Inn Club Vacations Sunset Cove Resort

From the time we walked in to the resort, to the time we left, everyone made it the best stay. The team there was so tentative and willing to assist in any way possible.
The resort itself was in great shape, the three bed two back we stayed in was very spacious and comfy. The pool and patio was clean and enjoyable.
We rented a boat with the assistance of the front desk, and had docking just off of the pool deck on the canal just 10 minute boat ride the the gulf.
Just across the street there are three great restaurants and boutiques in walking distance and groceries next door.
A great 5 min shuttle ride right to the beach area. Thanks for a great stay.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at! The staff is so accommodating and they provide anything and everything you could need! Free beach chairs, coolers, beach toys, bikes and more that you can rent for the day. The pool is right on the marina (not on the beach but the view is still gorgeous) and the rooms are so clean! The game room is also one of the great amenities along with the free beach shuttle service! Highly recommended this hotel my stay here was one of the best with no flaws!

This was a great vacation for my family (12 of us)! The staff/workers were all fantastic and very helpful with anything we needed. We have stayed at many of the Holiday Inn Club Vacations in FL, TX, MO, NV, & LA. This was probably a top 3 stay regarding the workers being very helpful. The 3 bedroom was very nice and the furnishings. This resort isn’t quite as “kid-friendly” as many of the other Holiday Inn clubs. They have a nice pool, a game room that has ping pong, air hockey, and foosball. They also have games/card games. The bike were great as well. Everything is free to checkout. The shuttle to South Beach is very accommodating because it drops you off right at the boardwalk. No need to take your car and pay for parking. You can also get dropped off at Tigertail Beach, but the walk around the lagoon is about 1/2 a mile, or 15-20min walk. The city as a whole is very nice. There is not a lot to do besides the beach pretty much. Everything closes by 10pm or before. There’s not much of a “night life” for the party goers. It’s more of a family/retirement town. Highly recommend and will be back!!

Everything about this stay was fabulous! The room and amenities were great. The island is small so it's a fairly quick drive to get around. A bonus for wanting to plan a beach day, is that they offer a shuttle to and from. Just keep in mind when booking, this isn't a walk to the beach from your resort location. It certainly is a central location though!

Nice pool and hot tub. Rooms are great. Nice kitchen and living area. Shuttles as needed to beach areas with loaner chairs, buckets, toys, boogie board and umbrella. Good location to everything with Winn Dixie grocery 100 feet away.

I had booked this hotel quickly after Hurricane Ian due to my home having no power or water. Due to little to no cell service I was unable to get the hotel website to load and was unaware that this hotel did not allow pets as we had just stayed at the IHG Naples/Marco Island location and they were pet friendly. Two days prior to our stay I spoke with Mark (front desk manager) who I asked about their pet policy he proceeded to ask what breed of dog I had. He said our breed of dog was “yippie” and asked “do you know what kind of hotel this is?” in a snarky condescending tone and I told him no I didn’t and the only reason I booked was because we needed a place to stay after the hurricane. He then said this would not fly and he would not allow this and stated the hurricane is over with at which time I said ok well can we work something out as far as a cancelation because I cannot leave my dog in a home with no power by themselves! He assured me no charge was pending and I would not be charged for the stay. 2 days later the hotel attempted to charge my credit card $439.00 dollars. I find this absolutely disgusting!!! People lost their lives, their homes, and the manager has the nerve to say the hurricane is done and over with? People are very much still effected and suffering! Zero compassion I will never be staying and an IHG/Holiday Inn property again.

Edited review. My apologies to Sunset Cove because the review i left prior to this was for the wrong HICV resort. Sunset Cove in Marco Island is lovely! The staff is friendly and helpful. They have the option to transport you to the beaches and also to rent beach chairs and umbrellas if needed. The island has so much to offer prior to Easter. We were able to enjoy this resort in April. Wonderful experience!

Place was Great. Everyone was helpful and nice. Only negative was the beach chairs that were given to us were awful. Need a significant upgrade. That’s an easy fix
