LA Fitness

The worst management.
I'm a regular customer who goes to different LA Fitness locations all the time. I also have many friends that workout with me. But, at this Coconut Creek location, I have never experienced such disrespectful treatment. A "general manager" called Josh had approached me and my friend in the middle of our training. He claimed that my friend was an outsider personal trainer (he was not a personal trainer), and 5 minutes
pass and he approached me again saying the same thing just because my friend handed weights to me. Then, he asked me to leave the gym and started SCREAMING at me in front of EVERYONE. He raised his voice at me many times and then demanded that I left when I was not doing anything wrong but working out with a FRIEND. He said that I was not being trained by their personal trainers because I COUDN'T AFFORD PAYING FOR THEIR TRAINERS. I think that was the rudest thing I have ever heard in my whole life coming from a general manager. I've been attending LA Fitness for years and this came as a shock to me. I hope some actions will be taken against this general manager because he seriously needs managerial behavior training or something because this is just unacceptable. I'm going to attach here a video of how he was talking to me so you guys can see how extremely rude he was and how he was laughing on my face.

This is unacceptable, this is in the Coconut Creek gym. What are you guys doing with the membership money we pay? Is like you people don't care. Time to take care of the equipment and upgrade.

Easy fixes that never get fixed say a lot about management. They cant even put a new battery in a clock after over a month of it not working. Over a month!
Let's now see how long it takes for them to notice after posting this....

They have few machines to train back, only 1 and 1 low rowing, lockers are not safe, and everyone is going to train in socks with flip flops, it’s like people going to the beach, I have starred to going to Planet Fitness and they have a sign telling no more people in slides o crocs.

I was at this unit today 07/24 and the attendant alex did not let me use the day vip guest pass, because he wanted to sell me a plan without me even having had an experience at the gym, a real lack of customer education.

Older rusty machines that need replacement. However the worst points are: (1) Free weights are not placed in the racks by their weight. 10 lb is next to 95 lb is next to a 35 lb and not paired up. (2) Free weights are scattered throughout the club. (3) Weights are left on the machines. (4) Management could care less, refuses to place signs or restack free weights so the morning starts with things in order, and they provide zero member oversight or rules enforcement. Respect is lacking by management for their club and members.

Greatest location had a friend come down to visit and we were treated amazing very informative staff .. especially this young man named Adline I believe. We will definitely be coming back

So I had a walk through today here at LA Fitness. I worked with Nick and he was extremely informative and explained each area in detail. He was very polite and my workout was really enjoyable. There are so many great machines to use. I did not go in the pool but I look forward to using all of the amenities!!!
