I had bought 2 chairs from White's Furniture.. I was not made aware of buying an extended warranty until a week later when their repairman came to make an adjustment. When I called to inquire phone calls were not returned. After the 3rd call I was told it was too late to get an extended warranty. I then spoke with Mr. White who said it could not be done and he was surprised that his top salesperson never discussed it. He said extended warranty would have to be day of sale. That was not true as I checked with the company that sells the extended warranties. I told him I would put on social media my interactions with him and his staff. He said that I was threatening him with this review and I responded I was not and that it would be an honest review of my what I experienced . He then put me on speaker and had a chuckle with staff that I heard when telling him about reviews I would complete. The worse part was that he said he would reprimand the repairman who was just trying to be helpful. Very poor customer service except for their repairman, Josh.

I bought a LazyBoy love seat from this outfit. Purchase and delivery was fine. However, getting service out of these people is totally impossible! They take messages, but never, and I mean never call back. This goes for the service department to the store manager. I will never do business with this store!

Don’t pay money for protection plan with Montage when they won’t take care of defects and whites doesn’t stand behind their manufacture of products

Went to Whites Furniture and had a bad experience let me tell you what happened. My wife & I were looking for a dining room set and was greeted at the door by Bill Monti. We didn't need help, while browsing around found what we wanted, and went to find a sales associate to help us. We found Sharita James who was extremely helpful. When she went to retrieve prices , she came back and said Bill was going to help us because he greeted us at the door. Bill Monti came back and provided us only with furniture price and said nothing about protection plan, which we would have purchased. He gave us a total we asked him to write down the price because we were going to do comparison shopping. That's when he got extremely rude and said I've been selling furniture 21 years and he won't be shopped. We said who is going to spend $4200.00 for a dining room table without shopping around? Bill once again rudely repeated, I've been selling furniture for 21 years and won't be shopped. We gave him back his card and left the store AND WILL NEVER BE BACK!! One good note, we drove all the way Gainesville to Wood You Furniture and found a beautiful Dining Room table all solid wood no veneer with 6 chairs and a coffee table. We picked the stain colors & paint and they do it for you and deliver it all for $3600. Bill Monti was extremely insulting and very rude and would never recommend anyone at shop Whites Furniture.

Here we are over a year ago and if you read the reply they give about thousands of repeat customers they seem not to care at all about the ones that were not treated correctly or the sale's they miss because of the sales guy Bill Monte. Either way the feedback reply nothing but lip service. Which is ok I'm sure we weren't the only younger family that got that wonderful treatment. Just wanted to update my feedback. Thank You

Terrible customer service, I purchased a recliner there at the beginning of the year, I purchased the extended warranty thru Montage. The chair broke in March. The warranty company accepted the claim and said that White's would replace the broken piece. It has been 9 months and many lies. White's has said that they cannot get the part, They said they delivered it to me, and now they are saying that they are waiting for the part again. Lots of lies, lots of no contact. Cannot trust this store

Bought 2 white Lazyboy chairs and a white large couch, all leather. I bought the extended warranty, one chair got old looking before one year, I called many times, send everything they asked for more then once, a tech came to my house and agreed it was faulty leather and would be replaced or repaired. 5 months later with so much aggravation they now decided not to repair or replace. They lied so many times to me. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM WHITES OR BUY EXTENDED WARRANTY!!

I purchased a Best recliner from Whites a few months ago. I was very pleased with the sales process and delivery. My wife has an older Best recliner so when it broke, I recommended she call Whites. The repair man came out December 12th and determined what was wrong and said the part would be ordered and it shouldn’t be more than 2-3 weeks. My wife called at least twice last week and was told that Noel, the person who orders parts was out because of an illness in the family and she was the only person who could order parts. Tuesday January 2d,my wife finally talked to Noel and she said she hadn’t ordered the part because she was out but would order it. Today I called and spoke to Mr. White. He said Noel was the only person who could order parts, but she had ordered it last week and it had shipped. According to the people in the store, she was out all last week and the previous 2 weeks as well so how could she have ordered the part? You can make your own determination.
In any case do you really want to buy expensive furniture from a company that is so dependent on one person as the only one who can order the parts to fix your new chair, sofa or dining room set? I know I certainly won’t.

I ordered my Laz boy recliner and it took 8 months to receive it. Once it was delivered it was defective, I had them come pick it up and asked for them to order me a replacement. I was directed to speak to the service manger “Noelle Vaughn”. I have to tell you she was the rudest person I ever had too deal with! She should not be dealing with the public!
The store asked to see if they could repair it to my satisfaction, I did give them a chance, but I was not surprised that they did not do a good job at all, it was actually worse. I had a friend go with me for a second opinion. They couldn’t believe how unprofessional this Noelle was! I refused the chair and did get money back, but Laz Boy should have never sent out a defective chair. I saw the same chair in another store but after this I won’t purchase Laz Boy products or ever shop at “White’s Furniture.
