Tristar Floor Covering

Tristar Floor Covering installed our marble flooring and showers. It was one of the worst installments I've ever seen. There was very little care to install the marble correctly. No one was there supervising. New employees were being trained on the job. Tiles were crooked, grout uneven. etc. The showers were a mess and we had to hire another installer to rip out and replace not only shower floors but some of the tile on the shower walls. They did not level the floor prior to installing. I would NOT recommend Tristar for tile, stone or wood flooring.

Started a home on Marco Island, FL in June of 2015 with APM Custom Homes. I coverted the building permit to my name in February of 2018 in order to finish the home enough to secure a C of O. In a lawsuit now. Many of the defects in the home were the result of work contracted to TriStar Flooring by the general contractor. The home looked/looks great from the street wow, but had many defects on the inside. Necessary to replace 2800sqft of expensive bamboo flooring due to the fact the contractor admiddedly never acclemented it according to the manufactures requirements but had TriStar install anyway. Cost approximately $60,000 to remove and replace by different sub. (Not finished yet‼️) Due to extreme water intrusion below the pool deck, and the fact the contractor refused after numerous request it install a vapor barrier prior to having TriStar install the stone decking, it was necessary to a different sub contractor remove the decking and install the needed vapor membrane and replace the deck. Cost $55,000+. Still dealing with issues to finish the home such as removing poorly installed by TriStar expensive tile in a pool bath shower. I contacted TriStar by email 6/6/2018 and they never responded. Photos of TriStar’s work quality attached were submitted to TriStar on that date. Lots of detailed defect photos available.

The most horrific experience. Lack of quality and professionalism for installation. No manager there to oversee workmanship. Inexperienced installers. Have to redo many areas. So many inconsistencies in timing and grouting. Sloppy work.

Did a fantastic job finishing my vinyl floor install. Laid floor, baseboard and threshold. Felix and his crew were focused very accommodating and are totally professional. Patrick gave me a quick and affordable quote. Outstanding company, highly recommend!

New tile wall in shower was not plumb, 1/4” gap between glass slider and new tile. Did not clean spilled paint off of new tiled shower floor. Cracks in grout between tile, can’t get a call back.

TriStar recently completed a project in our single family home on Marco. Removed all existing floor tile and demoed 2 baths. Installed new porcelain tile throughout. We lived in the house during this project. It was difficult, but couldn’t be happier with the results. Patrick and his crew made a tough, messy project go as smoothly as possible. Patrick and his wife Casey worked hard with us to find the right products and pricing during the “supply chain” problems.

TriStar recently installed flooring in our Marco Island condominium. It was a difficult job as the previous wood flooring was difficult to remove. Nevertheless, the workers were professional and did an excellent job. We are very happy with the finished product. There was a minor problem following installation. The owner immediately came to our residence and assessed the issue and provided a very acceptable solution. He is very professional and stands by the quality of his work. We are very happy with the result and would certainly use TriStar again.
