NOBODY likes going to the Courthouse. Pretty sure 95% of the reasons one would need to go to the Courthouse is probably an unpleasant one. I've, unfortunately, had two reasons to go this past year: once, for probate related to my Grandma's(more like Mom's) passing away; and the second time, for bureaucratic back-and-forth regarding my licensure. Dealing with all this back-and-forth, all while being a working-Mom, in school, and really not in need of additional migraines! Thank God above, I was eventually assigned to MS. GLORIA for help. I sure hope you guys are paying her what she's worth. She has been at the Delray Beach Courthouse for about two decades now-- this lady is a total veteran! No one else seemed to know how to help me. Ms. Gloria did not stop until she found a solution. When others said there was nothing they could do, or I would have to call some phone number, or I would have to schedule a court hearing with a Judge, or other disturbingly complicated suggestion, Ms. Gloria would not stop troubleshooting until she found a better solution. She took her time, and was so thorough and so patient. This is a prime example of going above-and-beyond. She could've passed the buck and sent me on my way, but she refused. She understood my need for help, and made it a point to fill that need. This lady PERSONALLY WALKED a request up to a Judge's office, conveyed the situation on my behalf, and followed back up with their JA to make sure my request was reviewed and signed-- all within 24 hours---something that can normally take around 72!! What made this so complicated was that years ago, some lawyer had things wrong in the court record, and even though it was blatantly evident, it was nearly impossible to correct/amend, especially due to records being sealed and other added unnecessary layers of legal complications. Anyhow, MS. GLORIA is an absolute pleasure, not just as a Clerk-- as a human. You start to get a little discouraged after numerous unsuccessful attempts. Each time going back to try again, all hyped up and anxious having to leave my busy clinic mid-shift, receiving judgey eyes from coworkers. But then, MS. GLORA would be so warm and so calm and so present, and just plain made everything 10x better. Naturally, I hope I never have to go back (no offense) but if I do, i sincerely hope, for my sake anyway, that MS. GLORIA hasn't retired yet. She is one of a kind. I was so incredibly grateful to her, I told her I was going to leave her a review. It's been some time now, because I am the total worst, and life happens and it's been like 9 months, or so, overdue. She probably kept checking for it and thinks I forgot all about her. Well, I most certainly did not. This has been on my to-do list ever since my last trip to the Courthouse! MS. GLORIA, my apologies for the delay. I could not forget how kind you were to me in my time of need. I truly hope life is treating you just how well you deserve it and I hope you know that you are a special lady. All my love and gratitude. :)

Booked our wedding here bc there is an actual ceremony room. Was told upon our arrival that we had to get married at the counter! Neither one of us received an email informing us of this. Totally disappointed - you could have at least let us know we only had this option!!
