Fanning Springs City Hall

I took my family for a walk to the head of the nature trail that begins at Fort Fanning. The trail leads through a unkept park. Grass is knee where kids were playing. A homeless man passed out in the over growth of weeds and beer cans. It has a beautiful square with seating around a huge tree as a centerpiece. It's really ashamed how the city has neglected this beautiful spot. It wouldn't take much to cut the grass, leaf blow and a little weed trim to get this park back to its original beauty. I just moved here so I don't know if it's poor city management or budget. In any case it's shameful.

The Fanning Springs City Hall staff is cordial and nice enough to allow the Supervisor of Elections to use as a voting site.

Always a pleasure to see the smiling faces there.
