However, upon pickup, after asking before I left (not being told) if there is anything I should know and if everything went smoothly, I was told that there are a some dash lights on and that if they don’t go away over the weekend, I can come back next week to have them checked out. In my opinion, that is not a complete job. The ABS warning, slip indicator lights are on and the 4WD is flashing in error. I cannot even engage 4WD any more. These lights were not flashing when I left the car there. I feel like I got bumped to the back of the line and then rushed out the door without the job being completely done. Now I have to waste my day again dropping off and picking up to get the job completed. It was very frustrating.
On top of that, there is a big gouge/scratch out of my right rear bumper that I am certain was not there before! It even looks like someone tried to wipe it off or buff it out. Not informing me of it is not okay. I understand stuff happens but at least be honest and have some integrity about it.
About a week later I hear a rattling noise coming from both sides of the rear of my vehicle. Upon close inspection, it turns out the the sway bars on each side are disconnected and had now shifted down after driving and were rattling against other metal parts of the vehicle. Had to reconnect them myself. Again, an incomplete job by people not paying attention to detail… and a terrible experience.
I didn’t pay $600 to have my car returned in worse condition. I won’t ever return to this shop and I would recommend you stay away unless maybe you’re just getting new tires. But even then, be wary.
Good Year Tires of Milton will forever be my go -to shop in the future for my automotive needs, for sure!
