One Flight Up

First time in historic Mount Dora and One Flight Up Cafe. View and service were nice. A bit busy and noisy corner. Food was just ok and basic. We had the Grilled chicken Caesar Salad and Salmon Caesar salad. The chicken was processed type and not fresh grilled chicken. My wife’s salmon salad seemed ok. I would probably try the sandwiches next time if we go.

Tuesday trivia is fun! Otherwise, it’s a good lunch spot. The food is only okay, and the service is great unless they are busy. It can be a little chaotic but it’s a very charming local spot. Really good coffee, frozen lemonades, and hefty wine pours.

Met a friend for breakfast. It was not too hot so we sat out on the balcony. Being honest, this is not a great breakfast place. Very limited selection. No potatoes or grits. This is Florida folks! Had an egg sandwich. It was ok. My friend had Quiche Lorraine. Pretty small slice, an eighth I’m assuming. This is a great restaurant, just not for breakfast. Coffee was great, service was great, decor was great. I have eaten lunch and dinner here before and enjoyed it very much.

This is one of the best places we have been. Service was great, food selection is simple but the most amazing flavors - NOTHING was bland or basic!! Apple dessert was the best!! Great view of Christmas displays!!

Our 1st experience, and it sure was a very pleasant & it's gonna be a repeat experience, for sure! 👍

Love the atmosphere. Service was quite friendly & attentive, felt the warmth of the love. And the foods & drinks were tasty, with reasonable prices.👏👏

Second floor is sooo beautiful, the view is gorgeous! It makes you feel like you’re in a French quarter. I really enjoyed I had mocha ice coffee.

Always a wonderful casual place for coffee, food and spirits. Friendly staff and good food. Nothing fancy but a go to place to meet friends, and they have separate spaces for meetings.
