Obviously known for being a solid breakfast spot. But don't sleep on lunch! Rosemary chicken salad with herb potatoes was so good! Probably one of the best sandwiches I've had in a while!

Like a lot of other reviewers this cafe was not on my radar, until we were hungry, on a Sunday morning and the fancy restaurants on the island were all full. This popped up on Google Maps and it is a real diamond in the rough. All my favorite Tex-Mex combinations of breakfast meals are well represented. My favorite is a bowl, with pulled pork, fried egg, black beans, salsa and an avocado along with a biscuit and some hash browns. I'll grab some pictures next time...

Love the menu here. Breakfast all day and they have a special menu that changes from time to time. Have a mix of traditional dishes and some Mexican and Asian inspired flavors, along with healthy vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. Been twice already and looking forward to the next time!
Meal in the picture for only $11 (I had eaten half the burger already)

Located in Satellite Beach, Florida, this place is an artistic little gem that locals know about and others should as well. Located in a strip shopping center, they offer breakfast and lunch all day. The staff is friendly and attentive to your needs. Breakfast offerings include the usual breakfast fare, but with a twist. For example, they have French toast, and then they also have brown sugar and almond, bacon-sea salt-caramel French toast. We highly recommend trying which ever they have on the board when you go. You can also try one of the many different kinds of omelets. The Coffee beans are brought in from a local coffee grinder. There’s French toast, and then there are brown sugar and almond, bacon-sea salt-caramel French toast. Lunch offerings are innovative, with a healthy approach. The restaurant itself is a feast for the mouth and the eye as well. Check out one of the many hand painted chairs located throughout. The place is small, so space is limited but there is parking in front.

I've lived here for 8 years, and have never been. Boy have I been missing out! For starters, I love the decor. The walls are covered with vintage photos, beach pictures, fishing artwork and quirky things. The atmosphere is really wonderful. The tables aren't too close together which always bothers me in small diners.

The service was friendly, and the food came out very quickly. Make sure to check the specials board behind the counter, because that is where the gems are. I had the lemon ricotta pancakesnwurh blueberries and my son had the power bowl. Both were just fabulous. I'm somewhat particular about my pancakes and these were really well made.

If you're visiting Satellite Beach, then this is a must-go for breakfast! You'll get the local experience for sure.

Excellent choice for breakfast! The food was so delicious and the prices were amazing for the amount of food you get. Service was great too, our order was right and server was super quick and efficient.

My BFAM* Steve offered to take us to breakfast this morning at a place that "makes the best biscuits & gravy" that he'd "ever eaten at a restaurant."

There's no possible way one can pass up something after an introduction like THAT! So we loaded up the car and we moved to Beverly...Hills that is...

No wait, he took us to Banana River Cafe in Satellite Beach. And let me tell you, he wasn't lying. First of all, let me state that I agree 100%. No part of this was ever found in some prepackaged mix where they just added hot water. No. There is an abundance of sausage cooked into the gravy and to say that they spoon it liberally o er a fresh baked biscuit is an understatement of the highest order.
Secondly, let me admit that I messed up and ordered the eggs (2) and the turkey sausage, which is freshly ground and mixed on site. Why did I mess up? Well it's because of just how much of the biscuits and gravy you get! The eggs were scrambled and were light and fluffy and incredibly tasty. The sausage was moist and subtly spiced, but unfortunately, I could not eat everything. I was stuffed to the gills!

Did I mention that I ordered a sweet tea to drink and the dude didn't even bat an eye? When I verified "wait, you guys have sweet iced tea?!?" He replied, "Absolutely." That on its own is nearly worthy of 5 stars. But combined with the excellent food quality, top of the line service, AND the real brewed sweet tea, this place cranks everything straight to 11. Unfortunately, I can only give 5 stars. Rest well knowing they earned them!

tl;dr: Banana River Cafe, the Spinal Tap of breakfast cafes!

Cute little restaurant. Beach artwork up for sale. This little Cafe cranks out big breakfasts with a lot of flavor. Service is a bit slow so make sure you bring a great conversation partner with you.
