Great place to do business. I have purchased many books here. The staff are courteous and most professional. I want to single out Stuart who most helpful to me when I sent my two boxes of personal items home to Massachusetts each year. Stuart picks them up at my Eagles Nest residence and sends them safely and securely to my home. He always follows up with me as to when they will arrive. I would never use anyone else. They are the best on the island. Thank you Stuart!!!

The service and personality of this quaint little shop are second to none. The people in this shop assist you as if you were a family member. My wife and I left the shop with smiles on our faces talking about how we had an experience, not a trip into a bookstore. We love this place!

My family and I came to this bookstore and the owners were so kind and friendly. I was amazed at the children’s section; the book selection was wonderful. This establishment was so impressive that it reminded me that buying local is so special- the experience we had exploring the books with our little ones was a memory we will treasure. And, hopefully our purchase helped to contribute so this lovely business can stick around and continue to put smiles on the faces of so many.

Customer service at this place is horrible. I went to ship out some $6500 HRE wheels with Michelin tires to a client. The wheels were properly packed and shrink wrapped completely. They denied my package and told me they didn't want them to "stink" up their store and I should stand there and wait until 4pm for the FedEx truck to come and give it to them directly. This is the second time I've been deny, the first was because my package that was 30x14x10 was too big and they didn't have enough space for it. I always label my packages myself and drop them off there. I don't thinkt they're happy about it if they are not getting the business, just my observation and opinion. I won't be going back there, I'll just go to the Walgreens up the road from now on.

My favorite shop on the island! Current books, great card selection, fun kids gifts, and beautiful gifts for the hostess, birthdays, and holidays. And I never leave there without something for myself. It's also a facility for shipping. I love the staff. They are just the nicest bunch. It's a happy place to shop.

Honestly this is my first review I ever write but I had such a bad experience I had to share. I have to travel internationally to see my parents and I needed to notarize a supporting letter. When I walked in there was nobody and now I know why. I asked ti have my letter notarized and i have been told by old bitter man that he had a rule not to notarize documents before 4:30. I explained that I really need this because I am traveling,he laughed at me and said "That is my rule l".
If I had the option to leave 0 star review I would. They don't deserve this island.

Surprised their book selection was limited. . Lots more than books…greeting cards, gifts etc. Super nice employees, a very pleasant experience.

I have been there twice to ship packages via FedEx. The man behind the counter is very rude and sarcastic, worst customer service I have experienced, sadly. Went to the Walgreens FedEx and had great service, they had no problem with the size of the label I printed out, taped it to the box for me with no additional fees.
My dad who is 91, also experienced a rude reception at Sunshine books when mailing a package. We will NOT be going there again for anything.
