Great friendly bank , but not consumer friendly at all ... Hours are terrible for working people

First of all, I just want to say on how every time I ever come inside the establishment, no matter what mood I'm in I always get a smile on my face by the atmosphere in this bank. I have been with BB&T for quite a few years now and have always enjoyed their helpful and knowledgeable advice. Recently I went in to acquire a marine loan, and Jennifer Williams the loan officer was the kindest I've ever talk to and helped me to the fullest extent. Thank you BB&T!!

INCOMPETENT! I came in for a few checks and the teller closed my account when charging me $4 for them. Lucky for me I didn’t realize it until the next day when I had bills to pay! No sense of urgency to fix this situation or empathy for the huge inconvenience that it has caused. Horrible, horrible experience. Would never come back!!

Worst bank around, I run a not-for-profit with a "free" account yet six years ago they started charging us $4 per month without disclosure for imaging checks. When I took over I asked what the fee was for then asked to have them removed, they said they could only refund 3 fees... six years @ $4/month lost. To this day they still charge us the fee and I have to call each month to have it removed.

Went through the drive-through. I asked if she could give me some hundred dollar bills in exchange for 20s. She said they did not have any hundreds or 50s. This seems like complete BS to me. She did not care and did not offer any solutions, Instead she turned around and went to teller line to work. I’ve never experienced such a lack of customer service. I’ll be changing banks immediately.

Lobby is closed despite the fact that the entire state has re-opened. Extensive lines at the drive-through. Even once you’re being “helped” it’s still 15 minutes to complete a simple transaction

So everyone is very nice. However I don’t understand why it says your open until 5 pm on website and on the message but at 3:45 your closed. Not the first time this happened. If you have adjusted your hours due to covid then list that and change your phone message. It’s irritating.
