I did the Pick 2: The BBQ Chicken Salad and the Roasted Turkey BLT was sooo good! I also got a Cream of Chicken & Wild Rice soup because I was feeling greedy and did not regret it. Everything was really good!!

5 stars to associate jamaica at drive thru and to Panera,
Your amazing personality is going to take you far. God bless.
And im ❤loving the free coffee ☕club subscription, and the added charged lemonades. 👌(original post 📫 may 2022)

Now I understand there is inflation on food but this is absolutely ridiculous. This is all I order from here and never has it been this bad. Just almonds, nuts, lettuce and bread.

Honestly Panera isn’t bad but this location usually has terrible service and overall quality control isn’t good. Bread usually hard and stale, soup spilled in bag, sandwich usually unwrapped and tossed in bag or just missing ingredients. I will say shout out to night crew, they are mvps.
I ordered double meat on my sandwich and got half a portion of meat.

I had the worse experience in the Panera Bread in 441 Rd Mount Dora. First of all, I entered and every look at me, but nobody ask me for my order, so I called an asked to the employee if anyone was able to take my order, and he told me that I needed to place my order thru the kiosk. Ok, no problem. I place my order, and 15 minutes later nobody call me, or give me the order, so I had to ask for it, and only then I got my "to go" order. When at home, the bread was stale, seems to be hand cut and had no wrap or anything to prevent contamination. (Shame I didn't know I have the opportunity to send a picture) The chicken noodles soup was warm, and over the salt. I guess I don't have to point that I'll never go to that Panera again, and will not recommend that branch to anybody.

This review is not about Panera generally, but about this location. Unfortunately, it is the only location in my area, and I love Panera's food, so this location is my only option.

I go here on average once a week for lunch on a weekend day. The service is generally fast and ordering at the kiosk is great. However, the shrinking of the food portions is very noticeable. I have eaten at other Panera locations recently, and their food portions are the same as they have always been, so again, this applies to this location only. In addition, the expected food temperature is hit or miss here.

This location is also the only location where you have to ask for a cup for your drink. We were told that people were stealing the cups, and I am sure a few cups are regularly stolen, but this is a good area of Mount Dora and other restaurants in this same area do not police their cups and supplies.

I conclude this is a management problem and not a general Panera issue, based in part on the ho-hum, unapologetic, sometimes defensive attitude when we express our concerns. Because I do love my Panera, I certainly hope this location improves, otherwise it may be worth my while venturing to Lady Lake or Apopka to try their locations.

Ordered food from Panera on doordash. Took extremely long to get and soups were cold. Ordered a broccoli cheese bread bowl soup and got a cup of soup. Also ordered french onion soup. So no bread bowl and the French onion soup was horrible. Basically watery broth, no onions, looked like there was maybe a few tiny strands of cheese and 3 croutons. I had it doordash because I was home studying. I called and they did telle to come back. I wasn't happy because the whole idea of doordash is not to have to leave home. But they were very sweet about giving me a bread bowl( n fresh soup for in it so had to put the cold soup at home in it and I replaced the French onion soup with a different soup. The girls were great, that's what saved the day. I also was offered a free pastry for my time. So in all the sandwiches were awesome, the soup issues not souch. But the manager and workers did their best to try to fix it. I blame corporate for the shoddy French onion soup. It's their recipe. Thesoups used to be great. Panera fix the issues because you used to be great. Also, I've seen that it's not just our local Panera but most that people order online that get the bread bowl mistake. Maybe corporate needs to make it clearer somehow to the people getting the order to make exactly what the customer is ordering. Idk but after researching it, it seems to be an ongoing problem. Thanks Mount Dora Panera for caring to try to fix it but think it'll be a long time before I eat Panera anywhere again.

I was told that my chicken sandwich comes with chips but they were out. I was asked to pick another side to replace the chips. I was charged $ 2.19 for 1/2 a cup of fruit . I did not get my chips then had to pay extra for a mediocre sandwich platter. I’m staying away from this place.
