Stacy Sanchez is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! She did everything possible to help my husband and I with what we needed to do. She made our experience pleasant and stress-free. So grateful to have found this bank BrightStar and Stacy.

Bright Star Credit Union has been the most incompetent bank I have ever dealt with. The one star is for their customer service… that’s it. They make too many mistakes, they are completely inefficient, they lack coordination and basic skills to do their job right.
They gave me the wrong account information for my credit card and on account of that affected my credit score… one of the many problems I have experienced as a patron with them.

Service on October 4th at 1pm was horrible. There was 7 customers in line with only one Teller. The Manager Serrano was very sarcastic explaining she had two new tellers. Yet only one was working the counter. Finally Drive thru teller had to help while Manager made no effort to assist customers just sitting in her office or have other employees assist that were in the bank. I counted 7 employees one working counter!

I just opened account here and the manager Sandy was very professional, polite and efficient. Unfortunately they’re understaffed and I notice people are impatient waiting in line but everyone here is doing the best they can.
Hopefully others will not post negative reviews because of possible long wait times. It is honestly not their fault.

I was attracted to Brightstar for their good, local reputation. I opened an account "on-line" and about a week later downloaded their "app" I had a difficult time creating a user name and password because it required "security codes" from different web links locations. I did not like the complexity involved with "setting up a new user" account.
I DO WANT to thank Christian Beckles, a patient and knowledgeable customer service agent who directed me through the whole confusing process. Thank you, Christian.

Christian was awesome!!! He went above and beyond to help me to resolve my issue. Without his help it would have cost me a lot of money Thank you Christian you're a keeper!

I used to bank with them many years ago. I had an auto loan , Auto insurance
credit card , savings and checking - the works. I had relationships with the corporate down in sunrise. Long ago their system crashed and I walked into the margate office on a Saturday and they were only able to distribute $100 to the customers. That's why I actually closed the account.

Anyway Fast forward to today (whete hoping they are now prepared when they have system crashes) where I am interested in a competitive CD rate they are advertising since the half point Tate hike on Dec 14 But their service is practically non-existent. Their voice routing service hangs up on you. There's nobody to leave a call back number. The only answer you receive with a phone call to the margate office at 5:00 p.m. on a Friday is "you have reached us after normal business hours" and then the system hangs up on you. What has happened to this credit Union???
