We enjoyed our stay. Really surprised at the negative reviews. Room was clean, updated, smelled nice (big deal for me) and all 3 of the front desk staff I interacted with were helpful and kind! Took a swim in the pool and overall just a nice stay. We were on the bottom floor so the elevator was not an issue for us.

We booked this hotel for the location. But that was the only good thing about it. The hallways and elevators are stifling hot. The elevators feel like they have not been maintained in quiet some time, they were extremely jumpy. We got to our room on the 4th floor and it was very stuffy feeling. 3 people were in the room and we only were given 2 towels and 1 wash cloth. I went and asked for more towels, we got 2 more wash clothes. In the room we found a fake nail in the middle of the floor so the rooms are obviously not properly cleaned. when we went swimming we again asked for some towels, the lady said they are in the dryer and will be ready in 20-30 minutes. Well we came back and she said they didn’t have any. When we were trying to take the elevator it was not working. We went downstairs to let the front desk know, when we got down there we told the manager about the elevator and the lack of towels. His response was “Well if you don’t like it you can check out!” Talk about unprofessional! He obviously did not care if there was anyone trapped in the elevators. Another person asked if she could see the elevator inspection, the manager completely ignored her, so obviously they are out dated. Definitely do not recommend.

Had a great stay. The only issue I had were the elevators. One didn't work and the other sounded and felt like the cable would snap at any moment. The room was clean, quiet, and the bed was very comfy. I would stay again but I'll take the stairs.

No frills, but was clean and comfy. The washer and dryer were slow and there was only one if each. However, they were free! The outdoor pool was great! The staff was friendly!!

The room was a last minute necessity, so I wasn't expecting much for the deal I got on it. Room was clean and well maintained, which is really first priority. However, the elevators were out (and have been for about a month according to the staff). I had a room on the third floor. Not much fun hauling a suitcase upstairs on your own. Something the manager should take note of: There are no electrical outlets in the bathroom. This is fine for people not needing to dry/style their hair, but for the rest of us, it's a trick to plug in to the coffee bar and try to stretch the cord to reach (doesn't work). They comped a breakfast in the morning as a result of the inconvenience for the elevator. Kudos to the the solo cook taking orders, cooking and serving people alone. She was great.

One of my favorite things about this stay was the customer service from the employees at the front desk. They were always very friendly, patient and helpful whenever I interacted with them. Upon checking in, I was informed the elevator was down (bummer I know) and I was placed on the 3rd floor. I am asthmatic and have to avoid smoke. Twenty minutes or so after checking in, marijuana followed shortly thereafter by tobacco smoke began wafting into the room (Presumably from an occupant next door or across). Immediately< I went downstairs to inform the person at the front desk and she quickly switched my room. Once the room was switched, the stay was very good, it was merely a pain dealing with flights of stairs upon every entrance and exit. I would suggest strictly penalizing guests who smoke where they are not allowed to do so in order to protect the safety of your immuno-comprised guests. Also, offering guests a perk for the inconvenience of a broken elevator would have been appreciated (free breakfast, discount off a future stay, free soda/snack, etc). This was not a cheap stay and that type of perk would have been very well received. Thank you for the great service of your front desk employees!

Snafu with the first rooms a/c and no comparable room available. Staff quick to help and serve. No continental breakfast and dining options were a bit high. The rooms fit and finish very Art Deco meets modern. All in all a win because of the beauty of the rooms and components and the ever helpful staff.

I was disappointed in the lack of details shared while staying here. The elevators were under repair, the rooms weren't updated nor did they feel clean, bathroom wasn't updated nor clean, not once were our room serviced the 2 nights we stayed, and finally the hotel attendant/clerk didn't make myself nor my guest feel very welcome you can tell she didn't want to be there and thats unfortunate. For $100+ a night I didn't feel I got a good value despite the area being amazing.
Hopefully this can be rectified.
