I use to love these apartments dearly, I left for a year and after a year passed I returned back to these apartments, right before COVID. They are marketing themselves as luxury apartments which isn't entirely true.

The cons about this place:

- The doors to go from the garage inside the building have been broken for about a year. Why have a key fob if anyone can walk in?
- The callbox by the garage didn't work my entire duration here, and I was told by the leasing office my guest would just have to be inconvenienced and go around.
- The parking garage is awful, if you get home past 8/9pm, prepare to park on the top floor, and depending what side you're on you may not have access to the elevator
- Fire alarms go off so often and there's rarely ever a true reason why. So be prepared to be interrupted from work calls and/or sleep
- Guest have to register to park and can only park outside, or they'll be towed.
- The pool was closed all throughout COVID, then when it was time to open it they stated it needed maintenance (Multiple times)
- It's almost impossible to get in touch with leasing agents, they only answer if they are wanting you to renew your lease. Good luck getting in contact with them for anything else. (I've called and sent multiple texts since the 8th, haven't heard back)
- Car break ins
- Rent is increasing, but amenities are decreasing (tried to charge us $4000 for month to month lease for a ONE bedroom)
- Elevator breaks down E V E R Y single weekend. If you're coming home with groceries, prepare for a workout. When we moved out, the elevators broke which caused us to have to go through the garage, on the OTHER side of the building just to get downstairs from the 4th floor. As you can imagine, this added onto our time and we had to pay the movers for that inconvenience. I reached out to AKS about compensation since the elevator is a known issue.. still no response.

Pros:
- The maintenance team is amazing! Quick, great customer service and just overall friendly.
- It's in Addison

We were never late on our rent, no noise complaints, no issues and this was our experience. Luckily, we've since relocated.

Awesome management. Tammy is a great manager. The management team has a ton of units to manage and I have always been able to communicate with them quickly and efficiently. I wish I could stay, but I want a yard for my pups!!! Great rooms, nice managers. Overall 5 star experience!

The apartments are fine but the management is impossible to deal with. They act so great when they want you to move in but it is IMPOSSIBLE to even get ahold of someone on the phone after you move in. If you call the front office you will NEVER talk to someone. You will either have to go there in person or pretend like you are wanting to rent on the phone to even talk to someone in person. It is aggravating and makes me want to pull my hair out. I can’t stand it for another moment and that is the reason I will not be renewing my lease.

The leasing agents at this complex are so nice and helpful with any questions and concerns you may need/have. The best customer service and genuinely kind people I’ve had the pleasure of working with in a while. Very refreshing.

Since I've been a resident here for two years, the garage gates, elevators, and doors have all been constantly broken, allowing anyone to enter. Additionally, the fire alarms continuously sound without warning or justification. My poor animals undergo trauma due to this. The area is nice, yet I can't justify living here with all the cons.

For an apartment that markets itself as luxury, it lacks in a lot of places. I'll be glad to move out soon.

Although I ended up leasing with a different apartment. My tour was amazing with Tammy. She was very welcoming and conversational. If this apartment was closer to my job it would be my first choice! Units were large and extremely clean. I would recommend anyone wanting to live in Addison, to take a look at here!

Waited a few months to get a feel for this place. It's been amazing from the beginning. From working with my current personal situation to get a lease, to handling all the questions I've had, to fixing the minor issues that have crept up. Sam consistently kept me informed on the steps to get the lease and the entire management office and maintenance staff have been wonderful to work with.

Update 12/28 STILL NO COMMUNICATION ON MY REFUND

UPDATE- Its now almost a month since ADDISON ON KELLER SPRINGS stated they submitted my refund. I still have only received one email from BH management. I called them and was told it can take months to receive which I have NEVER heard of. It's the holiday season and these people are playing with people's money. This is not right and I will not stop until I receive my FUNDS BACK!!

Applied to Addison Keller Springs Apartments due to the fact I called and spoke to the leasing agent who stated I made enough for their 1bedroom. Two days after I applied (AND PAID THE FEES) she reaches out via email to say I did not make enough. So I called them and let them know had she told me the process correctly when I called I would not have WASTED my $$ applying. (If you guys are requesting 3 check stubs but only using 2 to calculate income that should be stated when someone asks how the income is calculated) This was on November 14th. They stated they would reach out to their accounting department about refunding my money. A few days passed and I hear nothing from them. It's now November 17th, so I call them Whitney says she has just now reached out to accounting department (Remind you I called November 14th) and it could take some time since their accounting department is in IOWA. She also stated instead of them refunding my payment back to my ORIGINAL PAYMENT METHOD THEY WOULD BE SENDING A CHECK! The holidays are coming up and I still need to move I would like my issue RESOLVED. LONG STORY SHORT It's now NOVEMBER 21st and I have not heard anything since I CALLED THEM on the 17th. Reached out to them again NOVEMBER 21st asking for an update on the returned funds.
