Every encounter with Crown Audio has been great, including their excellent communication! We had our brand new home build set up for surround sound in the living room, gym and outside patio, along with tv mounts in those areas plus a couple more. From Brad (who sadly is no longer with Crown Audio due to the pandemic release of employees) meeting us at the building site before walls were even up to map it all out, to Josh taking over communications for Brad, to Emerson coming out for each install and finally to a replacement tv mount that they did for us on the patio due to the original mount not having a tightening bolt so the wind wouldn't knock it around. These guys have been so wonderful and we are hoping they are able to take on our new outdoor pool area we are wanting to tie in the surround sound to, that they've already perfected.
I was still hoping to give them more business but an unprofessional/insulting email (with some bold and false accusations) from one of their sales staff (along with less than ideal past interactions) really pushed things over the edge. There were other small omissions in their delivery that I wasnt happy with (example, lack of RJ45 plugs on Cat6 cables already paid for), but I was ready to give them a pass on it, looking at the overall workman ship.
I am an audio and network equipment geek and have bought lots of equipment over the years from AV dealers, in other words this wasn’t my first rodeo, so I was a little disappointed at the lack of long term relationship building.
It would be unfair for me to not call out the great work their technicians and cabling guys did, they went the extra mile and were very courteous and kind to deal with.
I’m hoping this was a one-off type situation, but since sales is an integral part of the customer experience as a whole, it is hard for me to recommend Crown at this point
