The building is definitely reminding the 7th sisters of Moscow. It was indeed built same time but not from the same architects. It is few blocks away from Riga Central Market...you cannot miss it!
Observation deck is on the 15th floor. A bit of a labyrinth once you get out of the lift!
It costs 5 eur (vs 9eur for St Peter’s church)

To me it is a big yes!

The view from the 17th floor is amazing. You can see all of the city of Riga in 360° panorama. The building itself is a question of taste, but it's definitely unique and impressive. One of the best viewing spot in Riga, so don't miss it. The admission is €6, but it worth it.

If it is beautiful and impressing it's a matter of taste. There is a small park in front of the building where you can enjoy a beer on a bench and admire this original edifice.

The views from here a definetely breathtaking. Cost is 6€. You need to climb two more floors by stairs after going with an elevator.

Cash only, in a 21st Century city - what a joke. No understanding or help offered by staff here, just rudely pointed at the sign (that still didn’t mention cash). Such a shame, because I would’ve loved to see the view.

Cool view for a few euro. The building is a very Soviet Stalinist style. The way to the top is very random travelling through old corridors mixed with 90s pvc windows and doors. Interesting experience and worth doing for half an hour.

Very interesting building in the style of socialist realism. There is an awesome, open air, 360° observation deck on 17th floor of the building. The entrace cost is 6€
