Currently circus is closed for reconstruction, but it organises different events. Now they offer audio-guided excursions with entertaining tasks for visitors. Look for Brīnuma skartie. It's really cool and I recommend it! Excursions available in russian and english.

Oh this is such a wonderful place! If you take a good sniff you’ll still be able to smell the soviets. It is a still fckn functional abandoned circus! The architecture is incredible, and the performances provocatively unique.
