Go for a beautiful sunset in there
This is a romantic spot to visit for a sunset and watch the ships approach or exit the harbour. The path to this place is old, with no lights. Upon sunset, plan to walk in silence. I recommend you take a jacket with you, since the pier is still windy.
Wind of sun and sea
If you're on this side, be sure to check it out. Maybe not the most beautiful thing, but look cool in the sun, enjoy the wind and the surroundings. Best location to see a sea on Riga's right hand side
The wide and beautiful coastline of the white sand of the Baltic Sea. This must be a place to visit if you're not too far away from the area. Perfect place for a walk and a breath of fresh Nordic air. Perfect place at any time of year, you can take the 24th bus and get to Mangalsala in 50 minutes.
Windy, scenic walk
Mangalsala-this is the very first part of the city that the incoming ships see going from the gulf side of Riga via Daugava. The pier was constructed from 1850 to 1861 over a period of time. A must for any kind of weather
I frequently visit this place and I get a new feeling each time. Very romantic and fun place to see sunsets, and also excellent for capturing adrenaline on stormy days (the sea waves are very high and the wind is epic)!
You can go by bus, by car, on a motorcycle etc.

If you like the sunset and peaceful places then this place is best for you. And even if you like jungle trekking, this place is good. And there is a good walkway too. And there is also a good walkway and there is a nice sitting place to watch the sunset.

Absolutely stunning "end of the world" where the river Daugava meets the Baltic sea. Easy transfer from Rīga via bus 24. Definitely a must see for everyone visiting Rīga.

Beautiful place to chill and enjoy the view, ships passing, stars, moon and the sea.

Is worth a (regular) drive from Riga for a pier walk to a lighthouse, especially at sunset. Can get crowded though. Fun to watch the ships entering and exiting Daugava river and the gulf of Riga.
