The only good thing is the location. 3rd floor, there's tons of other hostels, the elevator's crowded normally. Drunk Russians singing at 3 am from the street. No breakfast contrary to the agreement. No facilites/services from what they advertise on booking, like free car park/swimming pool. Poor hygiene, no towels, TORN waste quality linen. Oh, on the last night found a drunk bloke in my private (2bed) room. The place is one horrendous disaster.

This place is probably a punishment for all your life sins. It is located right above McDonalds, all the public areas stink as if someone was throwing up for a week. Absolutely horrible dirty rooms, I got rush on my skin after two nights of staying there! Unfriendly and rude staff! Also they ask the deposit for the key, which is not mention in rooms description. Stay away from the place if you don't want to ruin your vacations and health.

After reading some of the Google reviews my girlfriend and I thought that people were exaggerating how bad the conditions of the rooms really are. Turns out they weren't.

We asked for towels the moment we checked in. The receptionist said that they didn't have any but that we could buy one in the supermarket next to the hostel. (No towels in a hostel?)

We then asked about the breakfast included in the price. She told us that it was included but immediately said that it wasn't really enough for breakfast because "the manager only brings breadsticks and tea".

We had a double room with a shower. There was a hole hiding behind a sticker, the bed was broken, the radiator was on full blast and couldn't be turned down, the paint was chipping away and we found a small cockroach crawling on the ground. Quite appalling overall, especially after being in other hostels with similar prices.

Overall, not good, at least we managed to sleep pretty well.

I would not stay here again if I was paid to do so.

From the first moment you walk in the experience is extremely shady. The reception is in a different building and their buzzer is broken, so you have to call the reception who sounds annoyed at being called. Then you finally get up and get this strange soviet vibe from the place.

The receptionist asks you to sign a document that you can't make pictures of the place while staying there. This is a huge red flag. Also you have to leave 10€ of cash for the key, which is strange.

You get these complicated instructions on how to get to the actual hostel on a slip of paper.. and the instructions are out of date at I could not even find one of the stores the slip referred to. The hostel is located in a private building and is essentially a large private apartment sectioned off into small dingy rooms by paper thin walls (you can hear if someone is moving on the other side of the hostel as if they were right next to you). It has the looks of a soviet era jail or a drug den. The rooms are just large enough that they barely fit the beds with some slight room to move to the bed.

The restroom looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a while. The ventilation shaft has either a thick layer of mold or multiple years of dust accumulated on it. Generally I was worried this would give me some lung problems. The toilet is missing the seat cover. Did I mention that there seems to be only one toilet for the whole hostel?

The whole area is swarming with drunks. Even coming up the stairs to the hostel the steps were sticky with someone having spilled an entire coke from a nearby McDonald's down the stairs. When I returned the keys in the morning there was a drunk sleeping across a step in the stairway.

I can definitely see why this is the worst reviewed hostel in Riga.

The worst experience ever. Absolute nightmare. Do not even try. We booked a room for two. There was two small beds and nothing else. We steyed few minutes and have bites from bed bugs. The room smells like some night club toilets. The bathroom has no shower and toilet has no toilet seat. One toilet for the whole hostel. Everything is very VERY dirty. We had to check out imediately and find something else. I recommend Antik Hotel just across the street. Its very cozy and clean.

First we book 2 room of 4 peoples and we got a small room for 8 peoples, it's only the beginning. The bed was dirty, we found some blood on the pillow. The shower is really dirty and the toilet too. And finally. The door of the rooms are not safe, someone enter easily in the room and steal a laptop and the recioptonist didn't do anything. I really don't recommend to come there. Even for 3 euros it's better to sleep in the street

Worst place I’ve ever been to. There were just two half broken beds in the room nothing else. Bathroom looked worse than anything and the water flowed incredibly slow. It was smelly inside and then outside in the hall it was ever worse. During the last night there was some homeless guy trying to break in. Don’t need to mention that there was also one sleeping in the hall and snoring whole night :). Also they charged me way more and didn’t give it back. So if you want to experience worst hostel ever, there you go!

No window in the room, which made staying in the room very uncomfortable. The bathroom wasnt very clean either.
The most annoying thing is the fact that the hostel doesnt have any sign outside, or even inside the building. I was looking for the entrance for an hour and had to call them to explain.
Absolutely not worth it
