Rimi Stirnu

Good and big Rimi department store. Has parking lot, different groceries (incl. vegan), hygene products, seasonal things (grills in summer etc.), a limited set of household appliances and car accessories as well.

Very poor service. Staff never pays attention to the customers and is very rude, always puts equipment in the middle of the way. At the bakery and meat and fish section you will normally wait for 10 minutes for the staff to arrive to their working space and serve you. But the store itself is in a good location and has a wide range of goods.

In year 2020 Rimi still can't decide how many cashier should be opened at peak times. Shaaame

Good supermarket with a wide selection of products.

One of the better RIMI shopping malls in Riga, with large selection of goods.

I like they have wide range of goods and brands to offer, and the quality of fresh veggies and fruits are one of the bests comparing to other Rimi locations.

But the cashies are so rude here.

I put frozen veggies in the plastic bag that is available all around the shop for product wrapping, to not make other products wet from ice. And the cashier rudely took it off, saying - what is this? And then giving me this bag separately saying - is not my work to wrap your products. I mean, is not their work, sure, but why she is arguing when I don't ask to do that at all?

And it was already more than 3 times with me there. And they continue saying to customers, something like - is not my work, I am here not to wrap it back, I am not your servant, I am not get paid for this... In the situations completely irrelevant, I never even asked them anything or initiated to talk to them!

Why should I listen to this and experience this super negative service, when I just came to buy some food???? Am I corporate Rimi psychotherapist in charge of the staff???

I wish they all be trained better, sent to some anger relief therapy or substituted by automatic cashier machines soon!

I bought something from other supermarket, I went Rimi also, but I didn't buy anything. When I try to exit, security wanted my receipt. In my opinion better than Mego, but one of latest options..

Please fix the pedestrian paths. So many people have gone outside of the shop with full shopping carts only for the carts to get stuck in a tiny hole and the whole cart just flips.
