Quiet not so out of the way park with open space for shaded jogging or bike riding. Has open air, sunny, grassy areas as well for kite flying.
To see this old Soviet monument commemorating their "victory" over the opposition in WWII is a great for war buffs. The 3 mammoth monuments are set on a not so manicured pavement area that reminds us of a young Latvian country free from Soviet rule and new to freedom.

The spring in Victory park is a must. In summer you can go there and relax in the grass or take a seat. During winter there are planty of activities to do. But spring as I mentioned is time when the Sakuras gifted by Japan embasy are blossoming. Enjoy

Excellent view over the lake.. private rental yaks are available here. There's a good caffeine bar near by with a good view of the sunsets!

Place to recall that at least 40M people died in WW2 and that we should be grateful to them for piece around us.

You can rent sport equipment here - 🛼 in summer and skis in winter.

In summer it is quiet and green.

Very spacious and green. To bad it’s not a very nice place for walks - the paths are in absolutely horrendous state. The asphalt paths in most places is heavily worn down, up to the point where it’s just dirt and some other places - turned into just green grass. Requires some heavy renovations.

A great place for a ride with bicycle, scooters. Can have a good time with nature. Ideal place to visit with family. Can see the soviet memorial as well.
