I honestly was pleasantly surprised. Every item ordered was of excellent taste and quality. With the cosy athmosphere, there was still big sense of privacy. Super fresh oysters, could not stop eating them. Not sure how they do it, but please keep the good work.
You can feel when you are enjoying this food, that the food was prepared with soul, this is rare

Wow! Highly recommend this place!!! It's a small family owned business and they're so welcoming and friendly making sure everything was good. Guys, get the bread bag and try their black truffle bread with butter. Absolutely amazing when warm! Promise you! We got the seafood platter, lamb and beef cheeks. Very surprised at how amazing it tastes. Seafood was so to the point! Cooked perfectly well. Flavourful prawns. Octopus not chewy at all. Lamb was so good and the beef cheeks were surprisingly delicious!! They do have a baby chair just to add. Did NOT disappoint! 10 stars and more. Love it.

That feeling, when you enter and after the door closes - you suddenly happen to be somewhere in Italy.

Nevertheless the menu selection is not so vasty, I would say is more than enough and satisfying all tastes.
Without any exaggeration I had here one of the tastiest dishes in my life.

Maybe because any tiny detail matters? Agree, might be the vintage tableware matters too. Those, they serve food, from the past, manufacturered in Latvia, those from the childhood, those that seem not existing already nowadays.

What else to add? Wine! Here you can get one from Friuli in a glass, yet super rare opportunity in Riga.

The best meal we've had in a long time.
The owners were really friendly and informative. There is an excellent selection of wine to choose from. Our main courses (Octopus and Veal) were perfect, and the lovely desserts topped off a great evening out.
The restaurant is fairly small, so I recommend booking a table.

The best family-run restaurant in town. A very pleasant and kind family, a husband and wife who work hand in hand to maintain the years of quality in their restaurant. Quite a simple menu, but very tasty! The wine list is excellent because these people are very interested in different wine cultures, producers and wine can also be bought to take away. I recommend it to everyone. Relatively small, but very cozy rooms, so it is recommended to reserve a table in advance. No matter how many times I've been there, there have never been any free tables. Go, go there!!!!!

Probably one of the most tasty dishes I have had in Riga. Must try the homemade bread with truffle oil, it’s DELICIOUS! The service is good, too. The only downside is the portion could be bigger for its price in Riga.

We dropped by for lunch and have been delighted by the outstanding service and excellent food. Definitely the place to go in Riga. You won’t regret it. Highly recommended. Anytime.
