Hilton Garden Inn Riga Old Town

Our experience was exceptional. The Hilton staff made us feel at home and welcome.
They offered great recommendations on places to tour. The rooms where super comfortable, and the bed was a dream to sleep on. Without a doubt Hilton should always be your first pick.

Great hotel and location just on the edge of the old town which is ideal.
The room was a good size with all required amenities.
At breakfast there was a good selection, from cooked to cold. Cereal to fruit and yogurt.
The staff were great.

We stayed at the hotel for four nights and we enjoyed the city of Riga very much.
The hotel is new and pleasant and the breakfast is good.
But the 4 star grade is because the service of the reception staff is very poor.
We asked for a late checkout (at an extra charge).
After we were delayed for a day and a half, we received an answer that the hotel was fully booked.
A look at the booking app showed that there were more than five rooms available. After we show the data to the reception, they agreed to delay the checkout with an additional fee but only until 4:00 PM and not until 7:00 PM as we requested. Yeno contacted four employees about the issue and no one tried to help or find a solution, probably the place suffers from a management problem if none of the employees understood that their job is to serve the guests and not just give information.
It's a shame that after such a large investment, such a basic things, is lacking

The gentleman who checked us in early was very accommodating and welcoming. He spoke good English as well. Housekeeping team also lovely. Clean, new, and modern hotel with a small gym and free laundry room. Best location in old town. Room is compact size but still comfortable for two people. Glad that I chose Hilton instead of AC hotel Riga. :)

All started with a very friendly greeting from the reception, which provided good impression and later when we went to our room, it didn’t disappoint. Comparing to other close by hotels, Hilton is very clean and well managed.
This hotel is located right behind the “House of the Black Heads”. And you can see st. Peters Church from your window.
Overall, we stayed for 2 nights and had amazing experience.

Great hotel in a great location. Superb breakfast with the best oatmeal porridge I have ever eaten, very nice gym to stay in shape whilst traveling. We had a room facing the street, quite a lot of noise during the night if keeping the window open. Dry and warm air in the room was not ideal and the room also had a double quilt which made sleeping troublesome, hence 4 and not 5 stars

A large and modern hotel room with all the amenities (Crabtree & Evelyn soaps, hand cream, toothbrush etc., Different sized pillows etc.) you would expect from the Hilton family. Would love to see service at the front desk a bit faster (as only one receptionist) - we were waiting quite some time across various times of the day for either guests check in and/or to speak to someone and to check in ourselves. At times, it was evident that the hotel room walls/floors were not well sound proofed, but this is a minor issue. Lobby is attached to a bar which is a perfect way to wind down. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the public bus to the airport and has some good bakeries and cafes nearby if you're looking for something local. Overall an enjoyable stay but won't be rushing to go back as there may be some comparable hotel properties based on the price and service received.

Great hotel located at the old town of Riga. Most of the tourist attractions are just a few minutes away from the hotel. The central market is also within walking distance, and also the bus terminal. Friendly staffs, the staff at check in allowed me for an early check in. Nice room, comfy bed, (but i find that the pillow is too soft), great amenities, nice bathroom, and also love the wooden room key (its so cool its the 1st time i got the wooden card like that).
Didnt use the gym but went down to see it, it looks rather small.
