Good hotel, beautiful, modern interior, pleasant staff, room service, laundry, air conditioning in the room, food delivery to the room. There is a bar next to the hotel where guests can have a free breakfast. The hotel has a great location, it is located in the very center of Riga, close to many interesting and beautiful places. There is only one significant drawback that I found - mold in the shower. This is bad. Hope this gets fixed soon. Otherwise, I had a good impression of the hotel.

Our stay was a bit damaged by the on going renovations (august 2022), which left us with no hot water for a full day.

The location is perfect, the rooms nice and suitably spaced. Staff was friendly and all we encountered spoke English. I would certainly choose this hotel again without reservation.

There are few good things about the property- number one is the location which is just perfect for a stay in Riga.

Also I appreciated the design ideas for the hotel which looked good in the pictures however was poorly maintained when I arrived at the property…

there are a few things that I think that would be good for people to know…

number one is that there is no elevator! I had to carry my very heavy suitcase up the stairs to my room which I have never experienced in any other stay in Riga!

number two is the level of cleanliness. Unfortunately the room was not well maintained - I’ve added pictures below

third thing missing at my stay was the communication with guests… upon arrival they had a sheet of paper in the reception saying that there might be issues with water on the day… I asked - you have no water? and receptionist said that there might be just slight issues with it during the day because of the works…

for TWO DAYS there was absolutely no warm or hot water in the property!!!!

as I’m a woman I need it and when I was asking about it the next morning ( I was considering to cancel my booking and to find Airbnb or something with an electronic boiler), the receptionist said that there will
be works AGAIN on the day but that hot water will be running after midday. I was very disappointed when in the evening they had no water AGAIN! when I addressed my frustration to the staff of the hotel they had just printed another paper sheet with the date of that day at the reception saying that there might be issues with water.

if I’d knew about this earlier when booking my stay I would just stayed at another property.

also the excuses and mentions of personal stories of the receptionist I found unprofessional and the attitude was very unbothered…. in the end he said that he will speak to a manager which I don’t think that he ever did as he even never asked for my room number and no one got in touch with me after… it was all very very disappointing…

I understand that there are factors why they didn’t have water but in this case they should have at least let the guests know in advance as planned works are announced well in advance …

overall I don’t recommend staying in this hotel as there are so many better ones in Riga.

Beautiful and modern rooms. The location was perfect and the staff were very friendly. We stayed in two rooms during our trip - the first overlooking the road however on a Saturday night it was very noisy from the bars and people below. We moved rooms to an internal courtyard and it was perfect for our second night. Breakfast was included at the adjoining pub which was tasty but basic choices. At the time of visiting, the hotel was undergoing substantial renovation and there were notices that in the week the work could be loud but we were not there to experience this. The hotel could provide nearby parking for 15€ however, although we asked before arrival, we did not know how to access this so we found our own parking instead which was cheaper and close by.

A five star experience in the making. The ancient buildings are tastefully renovated, nicely lit, super comfortable. Location central so parking can be an issue, but the old town is all in walking distance. Breakfast is rather standard and there is no fitness center or similar facility. Reception personell were very helpful and helped us with the bags as the loft was out of service due to the renovation

The hotel is in fact a group of small juxtaposed buildings, recently renovated, located in the heart of the old town. These buildings are connected by small alleys.
When we were there, a number of these small buildings were under renovation, with exposed constructions. Everything will look much better when the work is finished.

We stayed here for two nights and it was a great base for our trip to Riga. Very well located in the old town, the communication before our stay was excellent (especially as we were arriving very late), the room was spacious and clean and the beds were comfortable. Only drawback was that the breakfast wasn't great - the hot items were lukewarm at best. But that's a minor issue and we'd definitely stay here again, especially for the price.

Nice rooms for a great price.
The hotel is currently under reservation so the reception desk is opposite the entrance to the hotel.
Unfortunately the taxis do not generally drive to the entrance and drop you 100 m from the place but aside from that the place is easily accessible.
Note that there are no elevators but the staff is helpful and assisted me with my luggage.
