Century Mile Racetrack and Casino

Service in the restaurant was quick, friendly and patient while we decided. Drinks were good and the casino was clean and enjoyable. Unfortunately there were no tables or Texas holdem area.

We had a party of four and went to the buffet restaurant to enjoy the racing and a meal. My daughter who is a strict vegan came along so I contacted customer service to see if there were any options for her in the selections on the buffet. Much to my surprise the executive chef contacted me and said that they would actually cook up a special meal for her. When we arrived the server brought her out a dinner complete with a vegan dessert, she was so happy that they did something special like that for her. All the staff we dealt with were very friendly, efficient and helpful. Even the ladies at the betting wickets were so encouraging as I was not doing well with my picks. I have read some reviews about the staff not being up to par but that was not our experience at all. The facility itself is certainly not as convenient for us as Northlands was and is much smaller but it is good that in the Edmonton area we still have the opportunity to enjoy horse racing!

Great experience at the derby. They have done a great job at this venue. Only been here for the derby in 2021 and 2022.

Great Casino, super clean and I was pleasantly surprised that the place was not very noisy. I only play slots and there were lots of choices!
I was even more pleased when we dined on a prime rib dinner for $9.95 only on Thursdays.
Easy access from Edmonton Airport, Premium Shopping Outlet Mall and Costco.

We went for the $9.99 prime rib Thursday dinner. Was excellently cooked to our request. Good mashed potatoes and veggies. The horse radish was strong and well made. Over all we were satisified. The slice of meat could be a little thicker like River Cree's.

Decent place for food not so much for the Casino portion.
Quite a bit of the same games, very few of the newer models. Electronic tables here so not much to offer in that sense.
Smart of them to open by an airport for people to pass time, for winning maybe not so much. Quite empty anytime we pass by to drop in.

We came for their Thanksgiving dinner and it was worth all we spent...We started out with creamy pumpkin spice soup, it had a smooth texture, wasn't heavy on the spice, Then their festive dinner was plentiful and inviting, not to mention filling,...we managed to save room for dessert <----- which was a dreamy, creamy, Rich slice of Pumpkin cheesecake 😋 it was so rich it tasted illegal 😄 --->We loved it!! Our server Maria was friendly and accommodating to our needs. Thank You Maria, We will return. 👍My husband and I plan on making this a new Thanksgiving tradition for just the two of us. 💋❤
