Jarvis Bay Provincial Campground

Great place for camping except some of the sites at a certain loops are quite close to one another. The running facility with the showers are very clean. Outhouses has a strong odour.
The only drawback is that the main gate at the entrance is always open all the time so anyone can enter in and out from the campsite at night. Also I heard last year (2021) during the summer, same time I came here. There were quite a bit of theft going around (stolen items) and a car window broken into. Make sure to lock up your valuable things and not visible for theft to see when leaving your camper/vehicle at the campsite. I felt a little bit unsafe but we made sure we lock up our things since I heard those stories before I went. Hopefully there is security guards now when it’s a busy season.

Plus side each site has an electrical hook up.

This campground is one of our favourites to visit. The sites are great size and covered with trees for shade. Nice walking / biking trails. Clean washrooms & shower would highly recommend visiting this campground.

Went camping this Canada Day. Omg what a campground. Showers, flushable toilets, trees, lake view, power. Haha! Felt like the most comfortable camping trip in last 5 years.

Sylvan lake town is a cherry on the top. Beautiful town and lake. Little crowded on a nice day.

This was our first visit here and we loved it. The sites are all good sized and well treed in, which is great for privacy. Beautiful trails everywhere and the cleanest bathrooms I have ever seen, with flush toilets and showers. The sites have power too. Beautiful lake views and a very short drive from Sylvan Lake make this an amazing campground to go to. One of our favourites already!

This is an amazing campground ⛺️ . The sites are large and spaced nicely with lots of trees surrounding them. Flush toilets 🚽 near the sites and a main washroom/shower building. There are lots of trails in and around the campground. It’s located right on Sylvan Lake but there is no beach access. There are a couple of playgrounds for kids to enjoy. The town of Sylvan Lake is about 10 minutes away yet the campground is quiet and feels remote. The rates are reasonable and many sites have power. My wife and I visited family here and were really impressed with the experience and the overall cleanliness. We would definitely come here and camp 🏕 in the future.

Loved this campground! Huge campsites with tons of privacy and shade. We had friends who had a campsite next to us and couldn't hear each other but was still just a short walk away. Great amenities: showers, flush toilets a quick walk away from anywhere, garbage cans convenient, and lots of walking trails! We also checked out the campground shop for some ice cream the last night. Very friendly employees and impressed how well equipped the campground is.

Nice overnight tenting experience. Flush toilets, showers and water appreciated while tenting. Wood and ice available.
I found the area tidy and well maintained. Great trails, great views and yet only 10 minutes from town. Sites are private, large gravel lots with power. The staff were polite and helpful. Lake access is a 10 minute drive away.

Spacious large sites, trails are awesome for exploring, washrooms and showers were top notch, clean, running water, flush toilets, luxury away from home. Didn't seem like a provincial park. No real accessible beach that we found without going down a cliff. Firewood bags really small
