It's a good little campground. It's well maintained and the stalls are large. It's conveniently right in town, close to everything, yet it is still quiet. There are showers and plug ins, but only 30 amp. We needed to buy an adapter for 10 bucks at canadian tire 😕.
The down side was no fire pits and no trees. They should really plant some trees.
I would say this isn't a campers campground, but it is an inexpensive hotel alternative if visiting the town for a few days. I was happy and will stay again 😃

We have family staying here so we came for a visit.

There are unserviced sites, power/water sites (PW), and power/water/sewer sites (PWS).

Most of the PWS sites are occupied by long term "campers" that are working in the area.

The remaining sites are okay. As most reviews mentioned, there are very few trees in the park which is unfortunate.

The sites are about average in size. Good quality picnic tables at each site. No fire pits. From what I understand you are allowed raised fire pits if you bring your own.

Showers on site are free. No laundry facilities.

You can pay via cash, cheque in the dropbox. Otherwise you can pay at the nearby recreation centre via cash/card.

Wifi is available for free. Average speeds around 3 Mbps.

Prices:
No service - $20 / night
PW - $26 / night
PWS - $28 / night

Negatives - No fire pits, few trees, average sized sites

Positives - Close to Walmart/Canadian Tire, lots of bike paths, close to spray park, close to recreation centre, free WiFi

Good Wi-Fi, spacious lots, well-trimmed grass and plenty of benches & space to move and social distance. The cheapest campground during our trip with full facilities. Worthy to mention: There is a water spray park just across(walking distance) that is never crowded. Awesome for kids! 6stars

The administration staff at the town of settler campground lack at doing there job properly. They allow their website to triple book campsites. The campground itself is clean but no shade so it makes it very hot. The bathrooms are also clean and nice. Would I stay here again no not after dealing with the incompance of the town of settler campground admin and manager.

Great little campground, full hookups, reasonable rates. A few trees. Great value. Can easily handle larger units. Plenty of space between you and your neighbours.

Wow, what a,well organized lovely campground you have. The efficiency we received upon calling the campground hosts we superb. We have camped and traveled a lot in western provinces and this campground is definitely #1 on the list. The showers house was very clean and everything is so accessible re closeness to walking trails, ball diamonds and shopping.
Stettler has a,well thought out recreation area for sure.
Thank you for the great stay. Highly recommend Stettler Alberta. This is our first time here and we love it.

It's a decent campground. The bathrooms seemed well maintained. You have to book ahead, (even if you do it right before pulling in,) as it's not manned. Also, it seemed like they had someone drive through at least once to check on the sites while we were there. We only stayed one night.
