I'll help ya this time. But if I were running this joint, I know I would create a combo menu. People will buy more if they can get a good deal. I would place all your sandwiches under one column and offer a choice of side with premium sides for additional cost. This will add value and sales would fly.
Burgers and sandwiches should always come with fries!
Don't get me wrong here guys, I know you have amazing food!! With so many choices of grilled sandwiches, burgers, breakfast items, sides, and more, why not make a menu to look at sitting down? This has become a fast food or even a sit down bistro cafe! You would sell more sides if you included them with your entrees for a condensed cost! A bit of marketing can go a long ways especially when you're the corner stop just 10 km past the busy Hwy 11 and 12 where working men are coming from!
The Turkey Ham Bacon melt was to die for! I would come for breakfast if only it were open before 7.
After all these years, this place could be a full restaurant. It would make a killing. Some signage on the highway 12 would help. See your true potential!
Everything is homemade here, we got breakfast and they even asked us how we want our bacon cooked (which I have never been asked in my life lol). The bread is homemade here and it's even sold in the store. We bought some since it was the best bread we've ever ate. I heard the burgers are amazing, they have homemade buns and homemade burgers.
My photo is for the half breakfast which i forgot to take a photo of before I started eating.
The staff was amazing and super nice.
They even serve zucchini sticks which are my favourite! I got some to go and they were the BEST ever.
Highly recommend this little restaurant which is also a store.
On my visit today, I tried the Erskine Burger, which is a 6oz patty overwhelmed with mushrooms, cheese and gravy. And it was excellent. The patty was perfectly cooked, homestyle, not a frozen thing smashed into tastelessness. The patty was juicy, flavorful and cooked right. The mushrooms held into the melted cheese were great and the layer of gravy made it a real Canadian treat!
The dining area is small but can fit a crowd of about 20. The staff is very kind and answered our questions and explained everything. Prices were very reasonable and we had lunch on a budget of about 28 for two people which is very good these days.
I will definitely be back. If you have a chance to visit the Erskine Grill, I strongly encourage to do so. Happy travels, and happy eating!
