Tried their ramen and and it was good. The Shoyu was not as I expected but the Tantam was really good.
Serving size was good and the staff were all friendly.
Will comeback to try their curry rice and donburi.

We had the gyozas, the miso ramen and the tantan ramen. We wanted some different flavours as we had been having Canadian / American food the whole trip.

The flavours were there - the tantan ramen was spicy and hit the spot but the miso ramen was quite sad with just a small slice of charsiu.

The gyozas were OK - they could be left longer on the pan for a bit more char and more crispness.

Used to be good food here, but my recent visit was not very good, my beef don is really dry and the tan-tan ramen is salty.

Outside patio is available which really helps because the space inside is small and can be uncomfortably crowded during busy hours.

The servers/hosts were all nice and smiling even when they're busy, so you get good service but not so great ambiance and food quality can be inconsistent.

Great Japanese udon can be found here. Not many seatings inside this little restaurants so not easy to get a table during summer hiking and winter ski seasons but I finally managed to get a seat after showing up for an early dinner in a shoulder season. The service is good and the menu is relatively small but filled with good options.

Cozy unassuming spot. My food came out piping hot and the ingredients are thoughtfully put together. One of the better Japanese rice bowls I've tried. Friendly service.

I've been visiting this place more than 15 years. The foods are good and staffs are friendly. The only downside is that you may have to wait hours in the summer. But the ramen is worth to wait.
