IGA Devon

The cashiers are amazing, but the mixed fruit containers have took a turn for the worst. The fruit added in them is almost always slimy now. They never used to be like this, they could last you like 2-3 days before they went ‘bad’. You also get a lot less and pay a lot more.
Adding onto this, you don’t get a lot of veggies in the mixed veggie containers either now.

For a small town this IGA has all the basics and more. Prices were fairly reasonable considering the times. We ended up arriving later in.the evening and picked up chicken from the deli, which was cold that's ok but dried out which didnt make the meal very tasty. I'm sure earlier the selection might be better.

On Monday, Aug 8th, I stopped at IGA in Devon for a quick pick up. I was greeted by a young lady on til 1 with the most pleasant welcome and exchange I have experienced in a long time. I complimented her and truly hope she is appreciated by management and other staff. Good hire!!!

I'm a very frequent customer here, but lately there meat department has become quite a bit worse. I went in and seen the lean ground beef was on sale, but there was none out. So I went to customer service to see if there was someone in the meat department working still, it was only 630. She went and checked and said she left already and remembered she took the last 5 packs of the ground beef leaving none for customers. She said the sale is on tomorrow still so come back then. I did, there was one package out, but the sale was over. From experience of working in a meat department for many years, during summer months someone should be there until atleast 7 to cut a steak or keep the counter full. Not to mention there grilling steaks are all cut about an inch to thin. Very poor experience.

Did not go inside. Looks real big from the outside and the parking lot is big was able to park close to the liquor store.

Absolutely fantastic customer service. But they need hashbrown patties back.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating there and very helpful when you're looking for things. A person feels right at home. Thank you for your wonderful service!😉👍

Great place and if your working in the area the food is way better then take out and you will save a bit of cash doing so. Fat guy approved
