We'd booked to go to the Katla Ice cave from Vik in Iceland in February 2022. The weather when we were there was quite extreme, a lot of storms, more snow than normal. This didn't seem to phase them, it took a lot longer than planned to reach the correct area but once there is was so worth it! Great information from the guide, a once in a lifetime experience!

We took the Glacier Wonders tour from Skaftafell; very enjoyable experience! Our guide made the trek easy and informative, and the tour had been planned well down to the minute to maximize our time on the ice. Great tour company for beginner-level adventurers.

Our kayaking tour was amazing! Our guide was so knowledgeable and made sure that the tour was at a pace that was comfortable and safe for everyone. We loved learning about the history of the glacier lagoon while seeing the icebergs in it up close. If we ever come back to Iceland we will definitely book again and will certainly recommend this tour to friends and family!

What an amazing adventure! I highly recommend this company and Arctic Adventures 100%. I felt safe, informed and prepared at all times. Our guide was magnificent. Local guide is the only way to go. THE ONLY WAY!! Even in extremely adverse weather conditions our guide was able to keep us safe and having FUN! I trust this company completely. Hjelti is the best guide, you know you are in safe hands with him.

Did the 7-Day tour of Iceland with Arctic Adventures and overall was very pleased. The tour is professionally run with a very nice Mercedes van and really good accommodations along the way. Our guide Carl, a native Icelander who lived in the US for many years, was very informative and very funny.
The tour went everywhere worth going to in Iceland. Highlights were the glacier climb, the Game of Thrones beach, the Iceberg Lagoon, Diamond Beach, the thermal baths and the many beautiful waterfalls.
My only reservation is that I really would have been fine with just the Six Day tour. The seventh day, which was actually with a different guide, was just more of the same. That extra day may have been what put me over the edge and left me sick with a cold.
Words of advice: even in the summer be sure to bring gloves, extra layers of clothing, waterproof pants and jacket you can wear over your other clothes, and if you wear glasses, switch to contacts if you can because otherwise you'll be constantly wiping off your glasses around the waterfalls and on the whale watch boat.

We booked the day trip to Landmannalaugar and had a great time. The weather was kind to us and the whole hike was absolutely amazing! The path we took was rather steep and we moved quickly so it was definitely also a workout. We can definitely recommend doing this trip if you don't have a 4x4 car to explore the highlands yourself.

Also thanks to our guide - he learned us a lot about Iceland's nature and people throughout the hike.

We did the Zodiac boat tour around glaciers and icebergs in Iceland and I could not recommend this trip more! Our guide was so fun and informative and we were amazed at all we were seeing. The team that helped us gear up were also upbeat and fun! We did a number of things while we were in Iceland, and this one was our favorite!

Great trip. Excellent tour guide! Matthias was one of the best guides I have had. Knowledgeable and kept everyone in the group involved. The only draw backs was Arctic Adventure closed the bar way too early (9PM), not nearly enough time to converse with fellow guests … there was no place else to sit and talk in the hotel. Also, even though I told them beforehand I was vegan, there were no option at dinner.
