After a 3 week episode for a job that was going to only take 2 days, and on top of that a job that should have fallen under their workmanship warranty, which they were refusing to accept. The owner (Stewart) told me he didn't like my attitude after I asked for my parts to just be returned. After the parts haveing still not turned by 11.00am the next day. I started getting shirty with him. His excuse for not send the parts. QUOTE. Your not getting the parts till you've paid the Bill.
I said, What Bill? He says, for the work done so far.! I said OK, How much is it? He said, I don't know I haven't made it up yet.
And it goes! I know have no generator on our boat at all. He also knew we were on deadline.
P.S. I also did not receive One phone call from him (or anyone else) advising why they had not shown up Again, as arranged !
I could go on.
Suffice to say, stay well clear of this company. You will be s??t on, you will get every excuse under the sun, and you will get a second rate job. I have been absolutely stunned at the service. I have been in business for 30 years and have never heard or dealt with anything like it !!

I had two new engines and gear boxes fitted by Sea Wasp and had a great experience. If i ever need parts for servicing they turn up at my door in a matter of days and if i ever need to discuss an issue or troubleshoot a problem they are always very happy to assist

Better late than never with review, these guys changed a gearbox over in my Finn7, when everybody else before Christmas was to busy, even after supplying them with the wrong gb, they went out of their way to get it fixed, would not hesitate to recommend their workmanship and a pleasure to deal with.

Cannot speak highly enough about Sea Wasp customer service. Bought a new Honda outboard through these guys and not only did they fit it to my new dinghy, which they had delivered to their workshop, but they also fitted everything else that came with the dinghy and then transported the lot to my boat at no cost to me. Very impressed & will definitely use again. Thanks Stewart :)

Fantastic Service, the service manager Drewe was very helpful with information and necessary parts regarding the service of our Honda Outboard. Would highly recommend Sea Wasp.

Could not of been any less than helpful. I called to discuss an engine issue and describe the problem and book it in only to be told - "can't give any insight or ideas unless I see and hear it and can't do that for at least 4 weeks.... at least 4 weeks probably longer". Well thanks for that - I wont waste their time again!

I just read their response - explains a lot when they refer to a petrol outboard when I was calling about an in board diesel and I wasn't even on the boat at the time I called so obviously could not (nor would I of ever suggested) - "put the phone near" really!! Instead of insulting my intelligence they should try reviewing their approach customer enquiries - My Advice - stay well clear.

Stuart and Drewe are good people helping me with my sail drives. Only minor stuff not big money but big on knowledge and to take the time to get me sorted. I highly recommend seawasp.
